Peaceful Cabin Retreat Within Minutes From Historic Downtown Newberry SC

Peaceful Getaway Cabin in the backwoods of Newberry County, South Carolina. Offered is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath cabin in northern Newberry County, SC. Located 8 miles off of I-26, only 20 minutes from historic downtown Newberry and a short five-minute drive to Brazzleman’s landing, where you can fish on the Enoree River. Sitting on a one-acre lot that backs up to the Sumter National Forest, this setting is perfect for a relaxing vacation, weekend getaway, or hunting trip in Newberry or Fairfield county. Fully furnished, the den and kitchen area is open-concept and reminiscent of the one-room log cabins built in the mid-nineteenth century. All bedrooms have carpet, the remainder of the cabin is complete with unique hardwood floors reclaimed from an old school gymnasium. The back porch is 38x10 so plenty of room to relax outside. Newberry County is known for its plentiful deer and turkey populations. Located 40 minutes from both Lake Murray and Lake Greenwood; 20 minutes from Lake Monticello. 15 minutes from the Buncombe Horse Trail and Palmetto Trailhead (Enoree Passage-Southern Trailhead), known for horseback riding, hiking, running, and mountain biking, and is accessible year-round. Plenty of parking. Gas grill on back patio.

Sweet Little Hunting Cabin in the Woods
Enjoyed our stay at the sweet little cabin in the woods. Darlene was an awesome host, easy to reach and so wonderfully hospitable. Loved all the sweet touches left to make us comfortable. The back porch is a wonderful peaceful place to have a cup coffee or a glass of wine and just relax.

Just book it!
Don’t worry, this cabin won’t disappoint! Just book it! From outside to inside all expectations were far exceeded. The inside was nice and roomy for our group of 3 and could easily fit 3-4 more, all appliances and electronics were functional and well maintained, as well as all cooking utensils. The beds were comfortable and the a/c unit did it’s job superbly. As for outdoors, there’s plenty of private yet open space to enjoy from sun up to sundown, the fire pit was also a great bonus as well as the gas grill. Communication was immaculate. All in all, just book it!

Weekend Getaway
Took the weekend to get out of town with my fiance and a couple of friends. We got there to a cute note with some fresh tomatos out of the yard. There were also muffin mix packets, plenty of coffee for the Kuerig and an ice maker Had! Had a delightful time hanging out on the patio, making s'mores, grilling chicken, and playing cards. Went on a couple walks down the neighborhood that were super relaxing. Even though we were walking on a paved road only saw a few cars the entire time. Cabin is really close to lots of beautiful recreation areas and hiking trails as it is right next to Sumter National Park. Thanks again!
