"Friendly staff, feels more like a Club resort than a top end hotel. Clearly serves the conference crowd over luxury clientele. Wallpaper peeling in the room, inconsistent housekeeper service (I called 3 times about the turndown service)"

"Beautiful Balboa beach location! The three bedrooms were spacious and great for our family of six. Restaurants and the pier were only 2 minutes’ walk away. The ferry to Balboa Island was right across the street. The only drawback was the small garage (difficult to park our large SUV). We would definitely stay here again."
