“I have been searching for the perfect cabin near Denver to “run away” to after a busy summer. I finally found it! Brookside will be my annual escape. You have provided for my every knee, including extra special touches. I was especially delighted to find the house slippers and chocolate cookies. My favorite thing is the hammock right beside the river – a dream come true! See you next year. You are very gracious hosts.”

“Great cabin that is clean and in the quiet town of Ferncliff. We loved getting water from Crystal Springs up the road! Check in/check out was easy and management was very attentive.”

“The views are great, but the house wasn’t clean compared to most nice vrbos. Another factor is it is quite a treck to get to the house on switchback roads.”

“Overall the cabin is very cozy and comfortable. Clean; stocked with cooking ware. We use ATT cellular, which was NOT available in the area, but bypassed it with Wi-Fi, which worked well. It’s close to the road, but there’s not much traffic so it was pretty quiet. The river seating area is beautiful but it is close behind the other cabins, so if you prefer more privacy it’s a little awkward. We didn’t meet the owners, but they are right there on the property and seemed like very wonderful...

“This was a great stay! We loved being a little aways away from Denver and all the crowds. The cabin is in a beautiful location close to a lot of trails and great outdoors spots. About 30 minutes to Estes Park and all the great restaurants there. The kids loved the layout of the cabin and we would definitely stay again”
