1. Check in is 3pm. Room was not ready at 3 pm. Waited in parking lot until room was ready after 3:30pm. Desk attendant was curt and in accommodating and unapologetic.
2. There was a huge nor’easter with 80 mph gusts that knocked power out at 3am. Staff did not reach out to provide any information regarding emergency measures to take had a catastrophic event occurred. No emergency lighting was available inside the room nor was any alternative lighting made available.
Fortunately, there weren’t any further disruptions that prevented us from being able to depart the next morning even though the storm event was still ongoing.
3. Check out was 11am on our confirmation. However, instructions in the room stated 10 am. Due to the storms intensity, our plan to depart at 8am was adjusted to the 11am check out time but due to the instructions in the room that check out was 10am, we had to leave prematurely. We received no notice of accommodation from ownership that there would be any leeway to the check out time due to weather conditions and general advisement against travel.
4. The room, amenities and location were very accommodating, clean and welcoming. However, the staff were not welcoming nor accommodating.
