Beds were very comfortable. With only a few streetlight the stars were AMAZING on clear nights! This property is one of many new rebuilds in the Lake Ohau Village after the 2020 fire, and there are some spectacular features incorporated into the build to highlight the history of the area. The house has been thoughtfully designed with open living spaces both indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed meals at the large family dining table and a highlight was the constant view of the changing mountain peaks out of the large picture windows. The home was spotless and well equipped, with everything provided for a comfortable stay. The pantry was stocked with basic staples if needed and there were plenty of the usual supplies to cater for our group of 8\. The Cabin was impeccably clean and well presented (felt new), with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Mikayla was very friendly and helpful. The cabin has stunning views of the surrounding mountains and stars on a clear evening. It was also conveniently located near both Lake Ohau and lake Middleton. The cabin was spotless and well-maintained. The linens were fresh and the kitchen was fully equipped with clean dishes and cookware. The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We love the fireplace! The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals and the have a bbq on the deck (we didn't use the BBQ but a great amenity to have), the rooms are spacious and the beds were very comfortable.
