I have an AWD Sienna with a Yakima box on top that fits in the covered parking. It is quite a walk to the lifts, but alternatively there is a free shuttle with an app called "mountaineer", we never waited longer than 3 minutes and found it convienient to use. It was great to be able to have our dog with us, and will book again if we return. Se hospedó 3 noches en abril de 2018 ### 4/10 Malo #### Tim M. 30 mar. 2018 #### Good location, subpar customer service While on my flight out to Tahoe, Vacasa's maintenance technician texted me saying the bathroom light was broken and they needed to install a new switch. He stated he was running out to pick up the new switch, and would then come back to the unit and install it. By the time I arrived later that night, it was not fixed (note this is the main bathroom in the unit with no windows) - the light had been completely removed from above the mirror with wires hanging down the wall (the technician originally claimed he just needed to install a new switch). The following day I requested to speak with a manager. I spoke with the manager who then told me the light had been broken for the previous renters as well. He then said they were unable to fix the light themselves and had to call a local electrician. The manager told me the electrician was only available to come the following day (day 3 of my stay). When I returned to the condo on day 3 after skiing, the light was still broken and an electrician had never came. My guess is they never attempted to fix the light and it had been broken for some time. Management never reached out to provide an update. At this point I gave up as I didn't want to spend the last 2 days of my trip dealing with management. Additionally the wifi doesn't work, consistent with previous reviews on this unit. For future renters, I would recommend getting written confirmation all lights & wifi are working prior to paying. Pictures available upon request. ##### Tim M. However the unit is tired, appliances are over 40 years old (no joke, from the 70’s), even the iron is ancient (seriously, the owners can’t even replace a $20 iron!?), the heater’s pretty ineffective, so you’ll find space heaters, and paint’s falling off the ceilings. The scariest thing though is the numerous light switches that are starting to fail, alot of them don’t work unless you toggle them several times (again, a light switch is a few bucks and takes 15 minutes to install, why risk an electrical problem?). It’s looks clear the owners stopped staying here long ago, and have completely disregarded it. Although the unit is almost on par with cheap motel standards, it’s habitable and a good value if you need a couple bedrooms and a kitchen...and it may even take you back to that first apartment you had in college. ##### Hamlin S. CS told us someone was "on the way", but no one showed. Called back as was told to call AT&T myself. Called Joni and asked her to call AT&T and see if they coukd get it to work. Never heard back and it never worked during our 3 day stay. Toilet in the master BARELY flushes. You have to hold the lever for 30 seconds and wait. Holes in screens let moths and bugs in. Only 1 of 6 lights on the master mirror worked. No lights in the second bedroom worked. Had to take a bulb from a lamp in another room. Kitchen faucet won't turn off using the lever. You have to push down on the top housing. Appliances from the 70's.Generally really outdated and in disrepair. Just a cash cow for the owner with little consideration for how guests are treated. Great location and good option if you don't care about anything I just wrote! ##### Chris K. Beyond that it is rundown and needs some serious updating. Wifi still does not work (and won't for quite a while according to AT&T), so they need to stop advertising that the unit has wifi. The bedroom windows were boarded (as previously noted by earlier review)... no big deal; they had to protect the windows from the huge amount of snow. However the boards would knock during the night (first two nights no big deal, final night was windy so one of the boards was constantly knocking against the window all night. No sleep.) Probably wouldn't stay here again unless they did some updating and fixed the wifi. ##### Gretchen E. Location - The condo is across the street from Squaw's parking lot. It is a flat 10 min walk or a minute's drive. 2\. The dishwasher and refrigerator are functional 3\. There is hot water Cons: 1\. No wifi - Wifi was down but the property management company did not inform us beforehand. After multiple voicemail/email/text exchanges, we were informed the wifi will not be repaired until the following month. 2\. Lack of security - The entrance door to the condo does not have a double lock. 3\. Stove - only one of 4 burners are functional. 4\. Boarded windows - Bedroom windows are boarded up from the exterior. Be prepared as I was taken back when I saw the wooden boards. 5\. Remember to bring your own salt, pepper, saran wrap, foil, sandwich bags, etc. Hallway lights - To turn on these lights, try pressing down on the middle switch next to the entrance door. I do not mind old or rustic, but this unit lacks attention and care. ##### Nancy L. The condo is perfectly located to Squaw Valley Resort and enjoys a beautiful view of the mountain. Yes, the condo is dated, but comfortable; however, I have to disagree that it has everything a cook would need. We tried to grill steaks on the indoor grill, but the appliance is so old it never heated up. We noticed a few things our first night, such as a broken toilet seat in one bathroom and a water leak in the master bathroom. We did get frustrated with managements lack of response and our pinched bottoms when that was the only toilet available. It was an epic week with the amount on snowfall, losing power, and being snowed in because the plows couldn't keep up. I've never seen Tahoe look more beautiful. ##### A M T. The neighbor above had a leak but he was very polite when having to access the condo while I was staying there. The communication was very good with everyone. The only problem was that the Wifi never worked. Luckily, my friend had a Mifi so we were able to access the internet (had to do some work during the stay). Other than the wifi not working, everything else worked out great. I look forward to staying there again this year! Thank you! ##### Maggie T. Absolutely amazing Took my family up to Sqaw Valley for Christmas vacation. We had the best time It was snowing when we got there. The snowboarding was epic.
