“It was not very well maintained. They kept running out of of breakfast food and didn’t replace. One morning they put out a few things and then later on put out different things. The floors by the breakfast area were sticky, and the same food was laying on the floor for two days in a row so clearly had not been cleaned. Rooms were only cleaned if you asked for them to be cleaned. Overall, it was just kind of dingy.”

“Beautiful, well maintained historic property. They have managed to provide modern amenities while maintaining the manor’s character. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The shared areas were extraordinary. A minor complaint was that the morning coffee had run out before 8:30 and there was no one there to replenish it. Regardless, this is a wonderful spot for a special stay. Highly recommended.”

“This property is way overpriced. The bed was OK, but the pillows were absolutely worthless. When we asked for additional pillows, they said they didn’t have any, but they gave us blankets to proper heads up with. The breakfast was less than adequate and completely overrun. The hot tub was inoperable. I will say the staff was friendly and helpful. The owners need to do a significant upgrade to the bedding.”
