"We were visiting my mother in the hospital and needed a room to stay for the night so we can go back to hospital the next day, it was 11:00PM when I searched Expedia for a hotel to stay and this place " Comfort inn , Chula vista" came up and said one room left and all other places in the area was booked because of spring break, being desperate and tired I book it, when we got to the hotel 15:00 minutes later to check in front desk informed me that my Resv is for the following day and they don't have any room and they can not refund my money and I have to contact Expedia and after one hour on the phone they did not help me and said it is up to the hotel to refund you because I booked a none refundable room, I tried to contact the hotel Mgr several times and never heard back. I guess because it was so close to midnight the computer or AI pushed it to next day and it was my bad not confirming my Resv in the middle of the night."

"Room was clean, however the lamp plug for charging electronics wasn't sufficient and those were the only plugs available without unplugging lamps. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants and bar were TERRIBLE with getting food to the table in a reasonable amount of time. To receive food in no less that 45 mins to an hour is not acceptable."

"Booked for the price but was a bit rough on the outside. Some guy around 10ish was playing his boombox out on the deck and being loud. I did call the front desk and it stopped right away. It felt like shady things may go on here but we slept well and got a good price. "
