Fairmount GEM With Patio in the of it all

Philadelphia vacation home in North Philadelphia, walk to Philadelphia Museum of Art
Summary: Come be a part of the neighborhood in our charming Fairmount gem! Located on a small side street, this is your quiet escape that is also right in the center of it all. Walking distance to the Art Museum, Fairmount Avenue, Barnes Foundation, and much more! This home features 2 bedrooms, TV with streaming services, and a private backyard patio perfect for enjoying your morning coffee! The Space: This is a 2 bedroom 1 bath townhome located in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia. On the first floor is the living room (with sofa bed), dining area, and kitchen. There is a sliding door off the kitchen that leads to the patio. On the second floor is the full bathroom and a bedroom. Up on the third floor is the second bedroom. Please keep in mind the third floor does not have a door. It just has a curtain. It still feels very private. Guest Access: The entire house! The Neighborhood: Home to Philly’s truly world-class museums, Fairmount is synonymous with fine art — but art is far from the only draw for this northern neighbor to Center City. Often referred to as the “Art Museum Area” because of its walking-distance access to Philadelphia Museum of Art, Franklin Institute, Rodin Museum and Barnes Foundation, Fairmount possesses a distinct personality that thrives independent of those many hallowed halls. Just outside the hustle and bustle, young families who move here enjoy its proximity to beautiful green spaces and a thriving food scene. Getting acquainted with Fairmount is now easier than ever for visitors, as surrounding neighborhoods grow commercially and residentially. Getting Around: You are short walk, uber ride, or taxi ride from the majority of Philadelphia's most popular attractions. Other Things to Note: The stairs are spiral. If you have problems with stairs, this is probably not the house for you. Interaction with Guests: Either myself or my managers are available 24/7 for any issues that arise.

      Generosity of Spirit

We spent five weeks here during the early quarantine for Covid-19. The house is light, airy, and decorated to feel like a real home. The decor is a big step up from other places we’ve stayed. It’s stocked with true generosity of spirit, ie better dishes, pots, beds and bedding. Our maintenance needs were answered promptly. Be aware of the old , uneven steps leading up to this renovated home.
