"The property is a dream. Large house with separate entries for the walk out basement and upstairs units, perfect for two families to share. We loved the views, the fruit trees (particularly the lychees and mangoes) and my daughter was obsessed with the neighbour's goats who kept sneaking into our yard. The Eddie Tam park next door is huge and beautiful, great for sunset walks. We always stay in upcountry when we visit Maui, as we like the quiet and cooler temperatures, and central location on the island. The house had everything we needed - beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs and umbrella, small kitchen appliances, and a ton of washers and dryers so everyone could do laundry at the same time. The only negative was that the bathroom in the basement smelled awful. It was something we were able to tolerate but would reconsider staying in the basement if the problem isnt rectified. The owner was super responsive during our stay and also said she'd fix the bathroom issue. Overall we loved the place and we have wonderful memories from our visit. We look forward to returning. "

"We dropped in for a few days for a wedding. Beautifully maintained property with quaint, cute and immaculately clean rooms. There were also nice larger rooms for extended stays that are ocean facing. The light breakfast, coffee and beach towels provided daily were fabulous for our short stay. The beach was right around the corner from our unit, nice beach to mention and very clean and clean water showers provided for rinsing off after a day at the beach. We loved our stay and are looking forward to planning our 2026 trip for a longer duration! We will be back!"

"We had a fabulous stay in Wailea for a week in July! Linda the owner was extremely helpful and accomodating. The unit was just as described. The WBV staff was top notch, friendly, communicative and helpful! We traveled with my husband, children ( ages 12-17) and my mother (age 76). The unit fit us all comfortably with 3 full bathrooms- everyone had their own space! A full laundry washer was super helpful! The entry had a few baskets of beach toys, mats, a boogie board, goggles, etc. The unit has 2 full refridgerators and plenty of pantry storage for groceries. We BBQ'd on the balcony 2 of the nights which was wonderful! Door Dash will also deliver to the lobby. All the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Plenty of closet space! The unit is as the top of the complex hill which means a downhill walk to the beach and (super easy!) and an uphill walk from the beach to the unit. My husband and kids had no problem with the walk. My mom called the front desk when she needed a ride. They provided a golf cart from the bottom to the top of the hill any time from 8:00am- 8:00pm. They were by to pick her up within 4 minutes of her call- and super friendly! Directly behind the unit is the Wailea Shopping Village filled with restaurants, shops, coffee, etc. This walk is super easy and about 3 minutes away. The entire complex is private and requires a key (sensor wristband) to enter and exit the complex. We will be back!!"

"Nice renovated interior! Maybe replace jalousy windows with insulated double pane glass in future to be more energy efficient. Washer dryer is outdated and noisy but still works. Nice kitchen but lacks cooking condiments…,cooking oil, soy sauce, vinegar, zip bags, surround wrap, etc. but utensils are new."
