“I was headed to Grand Isle for a birding trip and stayed overnight in Golden Meadow as the hotels on the Island were expensive and most wouldn't book a one night stay. Southern Breeze Lodge was perfect in every way, from the friendly ladies in the office to the clean room, comfortable beds, and convenience of having a gas station, GoBears Grocery and Noble Roman's Pizza all within walking distance of the lodge! I recommended it to all my fellow birders and will definitely stay there again.”

“In general, I liked the hotel and the rooms were very clean. I had booked the hotel because it had a hot tub, but unfortunately it wasn't working when we got there. We notified the staff (who apparently didn't know how a hot tub worked) It still wasn't working when we left, 6 days later. Had a coffee maker in the room, but had to request regular coffee, and front desk didn't seem to want to make any effort in finding any.”

“As soon as we parked and got out our vehicle we was greeted with the stench of sewage. Once we got checked in and made it to our floor the hallways had a moldy smell. For a complex that has been newly built it was in rough shape. The carpet was dirty, the light fixtures was broken, the hot water on the sink was turned off for some reason and parts of the carpet by the tv was ripped. The sofa/ couch appeared to be broken. I wouldnt recommend this particular hotel to anyone. ”

“When we walking inside, the place had 4 roaches. We went and complain to the staff and they did change our room but there was another roach. We left in a few hours. Hotel is not cleaned. ”

“Room was dark, bugs flowing out of the sink. Carpet was moist, ceiling has very noticeable mold. Didn't feel safe (search up reviews on other websites). I couldn't stay a night and i was able to get a refund. The lady at front desk was really nice about it.”

“Staff were rude, not friendly at all! They seems as though asking questions bothered them. They should also use updated pictures of the motel for their site.”
