BIG MISTAKE, DON'T GO THERE!!! IT'S A MOTEL!!!

Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Change the whole staff (front desk, chefs, performers, the rooms please - you are not serious. you can't receive people in rooms like 1257... Damnnnnn
Location: calm neighborhood, went to punta cana, to movie
I reached the hotel around 9:30PM, first thing there's no parking for my car. At the lobby, the guy checked us in then leave us in the lobby and said "Enjoy"... We couldn't find our room and finally somebody showed us where to catch a golf car to take us to our "terrible room"... I paid a Superior Room, King size bed, etc... Total mess... The door is broken, the room smells nasty, the furniture dirty, the bed are OMG uncomfortable as hell, the bathroom is a nightmare and towels are not clean... I found a cockroach next to door in the morning My wife was so tired, she decided to sleep but no "sheet", pillows were like they find them from kind of donation and they use them for customers... in the morning we go to the restaurant from breakfast, no service at all, food is nasty and not enough choice..,. Same menu for all three days spent there... I've been in DR since years and it always great time spent there but at this IFA Villas they're stealing your money, Don't go!!! Gay show every night!!!

Everything was good except the food. For the entire five days I was there, I only ate pizza and French fries.

Nice hotel rooms!!

After being 14 times at DR, this has been the more terrible visited,first the beach is around half of a mile away from the room to find a extremely poorly maintained beach after reaching there, once I got my room I found out the ac wasent working they checked and told me the ac was broken and give a new room which I didn't even bother to check in to it and chose to upgrade for a better room and after spent another $210 US dollars i did move in to a more beautiful room but find the ac not working as well and it took 3 hours to finally have the ac working properly,and finally the advertised 4 to 5 restaurant and they do that number of them however only the the buffet restaurant and one more a la carta restaurant would opened in a daily basis and when I asked the hotel management I was told that it was due to the low number of guests at the hotel. The best thing about this hotel was as usual the very happy and friendly stuff and the rooms.

Nice value hotel but food not that great

The staff is great nice and helpful. The theater show is the best I have ever been too. Wow the Michael Jackson show amazing .The disco very nice The pool not so clean .the hotel is under construction be sure to get a superior room.though there is nothing in the fridge regardless if you get superior room. No room service either only water in the room. Food at Chinese restaurant is horrible they only open one atacarta restaurant a night although they have 4. The Buffet has very little options food is just ok. The pizza by the pool is the best option

I did have not a good experience. When did get there, only one room available with air conditioner in bad función. Was give to me and was no tell to me that it was like that. Did call to room service and they salud that will send a technician that never when to the room. The personal is ok but need to work in their treatment to the customer. You need to get all mad to get a solution to ur issue, and I am in vacations not in a battle field.

Gorgeous hotel

The good: The hotel itself is really, really beautiful. There are 2 giant pools, it's a 3-4 minute walk to the beach and there is great wildlife all around. The food at Caribe and Bambu are delicious and the buffet by the beach for lunch is also very good. Ramsel and Yorby work the bars at the pools and they are great! The weather was sooooo great and sunny! It did rain 2 times but it is only for an hour or two and then it is bright and sunny again! The bad: There are not enough chairs to lounge in by the pools. If you show up after 9am to try to get a chair at either pool you are SOL and will have to lay on the floor or be in the pool. It's pretty annoying. There are only certain times that food is available, so if you're hungry at one of the times that the buffets or the only ONE snack bar is open, you will be hungry. The employees are not nice, the seem almost bothered by any question you have. I speak Spanish and was able to communicate well, but it didn't help much with their politeness. It should be noted somewhere (and it is not) that you have to always go the bar to get drinks. There isn't anybody walking around taking drink orders as they are at other all-Inclusives that I have been to. Overall: I did like the resort, again it is beautiful, but I would not return. The bad outweighed the good and it just didn't make for an overall good vacation.

Cons: PLACE NOT SAFE FOR DOGS TO STAY HERE...RUN
Location: FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY.
AFTER STAYING HERE MY HUSBAND AND I AND OUR ENTIRE GROUP OF 30 FRIENDS GOT PARASITES FROM THIS PLACE SERVING NASTY FOOD AND WATER TO US. I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A -100 REVIEW RATING IF I COULD. LIKE I SAID RUN. THE PLACE ISN'T SAFE FOR DOGS TO STAY HERE...RUN

Ok Hotel

Pros: Staff at the restaurants, room, and bars were great and friendly. They do have a hard time understanding English, so be prepared.
Cons: Customer Service.
Location: Close to beach - this property is on beach, but rooms are not - they have a shuttle to take you back and forth.
Accommodations at this hotel are ok. However, you need to know where your room is located before arriving. I spent an entire day on the phone with Expedia trying to get our room changed. When we arrived the staff booked us in a room that was approx. 5 ft. from the back of the entertainment stage - it was LOUD and we could not sleep until it ended around 1:00 am. The next morning we requested a room change -was told they were fully booked. I called Expedia - and was told that she had everything worked out and who to see at Customer Service - WRONG - called Expedia back got the run around, transferred and transferred, until I was disconnected - called back - this went on most of the day. Expedia was little or no help, they offered to move us to a different resort for 1 night (I refused, because we would lose 3 days of vacation, moving back and forth, not acceptable). We paid Expedia extra for a "Superior" room, only to be told by Cust. Serv. Rep at resort that that was their less expensive rooms. I went back to the check-in desk while I had Expedia on the phone. Talked to a different Rep. and she finally got us moved to a much quieter location. I fault Expedia for a lot for this, I asked if they had even visited this property and No they have not. The food was fine, nothing to brag about, but acceptable. Mixed drinks were not great, but ok. Most of the staff were great, only problem was the desk staff and Customer Service who really did not care about comfort.

Mediocre hotel

If you are used to American bathrooms, you will not like the bathrooms here. Everywhere I walked, there was fumes of second hand smoke. The alcohol seemed to be watered down. If you drink red wine, bring your own, even a cheap $5 bottle would be better than what they serve here. Twice, my water didn't work when I wanted to take a shower.
