“Told the front desk our shower and sink drains were filling up Response tells me they won’t do anything about it”

“The staff was exceptional and the rooms were large. My only issue was with Expedia unfortunately. I booked through their app and one of the pictures shows a grill and says "grill/picnic area". We brought along nice steaks to throw on the grill in celebration of our anniversary. However, the grill was not for public use! Very misleading. The hotel staff tried to make it right by upgrading our room to one with a kitchen, but we turned it down. Our room was fine, just disappointed. Pool area……

“Needs better knives for the kitchen and use the postcards cabin address rather the address they give you in the itinerary. The address in the itinerary got me lost and with no service in the area i was lost for 20 minutes”

“The home is beautifully restored with modern touches, yet remains true to it's roots. The property has a short path to a river with benches to relax. Robin, the host was very personable and served a lovely breakfast. The other touches that were unique was an ice machine, refrigerator, water, soda and a Keurig machine available for use in the common area. And Cookies! This was the perfect place to relax and unwind!”

The cabin itself was immaculate, stocked with every essential you could need - like a hair dryer, hair straightener, full medical kit and coffee - all much needed for a girls' weekend. “Starting with positives, communication was excellent, very helpful, easy to work with and fixed all issues in a timely manner! Reasons i will choose other places over this home: had to fill out rental agreement and give large deposit which i find most properties don't require and ties up money for a couple months, not a huge deal but an inconvenience. Upstairs bathroom had a horrible septic smell that I'm sure they will take care of as they seem like good owners. The thing that bothered me……

“We absolutely love this property. The view is beautiful, the hot tub is relaxing. I love listening to the waves hit the shore. We have stayed here 8 times already and can’t wait to come back. The house is huge and we love the convience of the 3 bathrooms. Chris is very easy to contact and responds right away. Could not recommend this place enough! ”

“We had a group of 10 ladies stayed for three nights at this Vrbo. It was a beautiful home and fire pit facing a small lake and near Watoma. It was very nice. We did have some rainy weather so that damper some of our outdoor activities however we made the best of it it as we did have a power outage for the entire lake area, but the host was quick to help us with whatever we needed and seemed to really care. We probably will try to book it again next year if it works out thanks for having us.”
