"Overbooked the room we requested since we have kids we needed two beds . Once we got to our room we had to use the pullout sofa that they also failed to provide the bedding for . No WiFi . Didn’t mention the pool was shutdown due to resurfacing which is a long period so it should’ve been noted in the booking . "

"Great stay in Wilmington. This hotel is on the water with a very nice waterfront pool. Clean and updated. Friendly staff. Perfect location for The River Walk and to eat and drink on Front Street. "

"I would have rated it higher except for the Manager Caitlin. Her attitude is of a correctional officer where the guests don’t have a choice where they stay. She should not work in the hospitality industry whatsoever, she’s rude, abrupt, and needs to realize guests have choices where we spend our money. She might have won the battle, but she definitely lost this war. I recommend to her that she should never speak to guests again, doubtful it will stick. Good luck, stay at your own risk. "

"Beach view and location were great and front desk lady helping us was really nice. Unfortunately the conditions of the room were very sub par, especially for 350 a night. The room was very outdated. The night stand had some sort of brown stain on the top and a giant red stain all the way down the night stand, extending to the mattress cover and floor. the TV stand was torn up and looked like something had chewed up the wood. the ceiling was peeling in the bathroom. There was a stain on the dining room table and on the bathroom counter top. the bulb in the bedroom lamp didn't work. the latch on the balcony door didn't work. The wall in the bedroom was a giant mirror wall that had rust stains underneath. All-in-all, not a very nice room for the rates. We were offered the ability to move rooms, but a member of my party had food poisoning and did not want the hassle. They said they were not able to compensate anything since we booked 3rd party and not directly through the site. They tried to make things better by offering a food voucher which helped. The staff were great and definitely want to help, but the conditions of the room we stayed in were simply unacceptable. "

Patrick the manager, who should be congratulated on leading such a wonderful hotel with his amazing staff. I have never felt so important with the staff who took care of our party."
