Salutations , Laurent Langouet

Not a hotel. It's a b&b.Posted Jun 14, 2015
We booked the hotel as it stated what we were after- a smoking, standard double room with single beds. And tea and coffee making facilities in the room. When we arrived we were given a non smoking room with a double bed. (Not great as I had to share with my mother.) And there was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. But you could request tea or coffee and hey charge it to your room. They couldn't rectify the room situation until the morning. In both rooms the beds were nicely made and the sheets were clean. However the rooms were not. The bathrooms were dated and dirty. One hair dryer was taped together with sellotape. And in another the toilet flusher was taped together!! Both rooms were musty in smell and damp. The wall paper was peeling off! There is also no bar as stated. That is just for show. Breakfast was a 'standard' continental. Its very small. And you have that in your room. No other meals are provided. The male staff however couldn't do more to help. They made us drinks, helped with trips and we're generally friendly and helpful. The one female member of staff though was not so helpful. It's a shame the hotel was such a hole because with those lovely staff members it could have been a great stay.

Great location!Posted May 31, 2015
Cons: Would be convenient to have wifi in rooms but hotel is small and lobby is class and it was available there.
Location: Walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps and a quick bus ride or a bit longer walk to other attractions like Colosseum
Loved the location of this hotel right near Piazza Barberini where there is a Metro stop. Day staff were helpful getting us on right bus for our outings, bus stop right near the hotel as well. Great restaurants close by. Room was small, but it's Europe, not North America and most rooms are smaller. It met our needs, we didnt spend a ton of time in the room, sleep and shower mostly!

Posizione eccellente il resto deludentePosted May 27, 2015

Ok for short staysPosted May 25, 2015 on Hotels
Good for people willing to stay very close to the Trevi Fountain or who are planning to stay in the hotel only the minimum amount of time necessary to sleep. Pros - The personnel is very nice and helpful - Wonderful position Cons - Very old structure. Needs to be renovated ASAP - Small rooms and small common spaces - Poorly functioning wi-fi - Breakfast not worth the additional 5€

Good hotel!Posted May 8, 2015 on Hotels
The staff was very friendly. My room was small but clean and comfortable. The only down point was no wifi on the room you need to go to the lobe to use.

Pros: Location and lovely staff.
Location: 1 block from Metro and tour bus lines. Quiet location, but convenient.
Small hotel. Our first exposure to Rome, so small shower size was a surprise, but all else was fine. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location near Metro and bus. Easy access to attractions.
