Good in a pinch

HAD to book here due to other hotel mix-up. Privately owned generally means port quality. Nice proprietor but overall not great due to construction. One rooms shower had dip that created puddle of fungus

nightmare hotel somehow in a good area.

Posted Feb 21, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Near to NE side of San Antonio. Great places to eat within walking distance. till you tell the waitress where you slept and she looks at you crazy.
Cons: needs better cleaning staff. and needs major remodel.
Location: close to the caverns. mins from downtown. nearby highway access.
long story short. first i have pictures and video to verify everything im about to say. We stayed in the room only a few hours because we were traveling and checked in later and the rodeo was in town so there were no other rooms nearby. The first thing we noticed was that the door has been kicked in on several occasions and has quite the gap still. enough that you can see into the room from the lower parking lot. The bathroom door would not shut and hit the toilet when i tried to close it. There was a blood stain on the wall and the windows were cracked and broken. The sheets had holes and the bed had to be close to 20 years old. Various fluid stains throughout the room. We know this area to be a great area, near military bases and good neighborhoods on San Antonio's NE side. Thats why we booked the room sight unseen. a very costly lesson for us. The manager refused to give us a refund. We stayed the rest of the morning in the car and went to the next town over later in the day when we could make reservations. not a recommended place to stay. There are several other hotels in that same area that may cost a few dollars more but are well worth the price to avoid the frustration and troubles.

Not a good choice!

Posted Oct 18, 2015
Pros: Next to Whataburger.
Cons: Get rid of bed bugs and clean better.
I feel deceived, because of the name that is presented on Expedia makes you think it is an Extended Stay chain motel. It is not, an Extended Stay Motel. It is privately owned. There was hairr on the bath floor and in tub. This motel has bed bugs. My dad killed one on the bed the next morning, it was full of blood and I then found a dead one in other bed. When we got home we had to leave everything we took with us outside overnight. I had to wash and clean everything we took with us. It was a lot of extra work. Praying I got rid of them.

In between moving

We needed a place to stay while waiting on my house to be built, the Great Value In was the place to go. Perry the owner gave us an upgraded room with a fabulous weekly rate for my family. We stayed there 2 months and it was quote comfortable. And there was never any loud noises. It is also located in the middle of some great places to eat.

My friends and I stayed in Room 104. We arrived to find a range of small and medium-sized roaches throughout the room (on the floor, by the microwave). The bathtub floor had dirt on it, and water pooled in the center, away from the drain. We stupidly pre-purchased the room for 2 nights, but left after the first, thereby losing money for a whole night. NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE.

First of all the guest didn;t pre-purchase a room for 2 night. It was a walk in. Guest want room for only couple of hours and we refuse it then they pay for the entire night with discounted rate. If the guest didn;t like the room then they should have checked out with in 10 min not after 3 hours.

Crappy hotel never stay here.

Posted Jul 26, 2015
The staff was very rude and charged an extra $10.00 per person for me and my two kids. It would have only been $5 per person if I paid cash! He had no respect for me and took all the male clients before me even though I was there first. There were also bugs in the room. The room cost me $100.00 instead of $55.00. I have stayed at cheaper hotels and had better service.

If you pay cash or credit, we can't change our policy for extra person. We also go with our regular rate for that night. Guest can't determine that what is the price for the room. Busy weekend the rate goes up and still our rate is the lowest in the area anyways.
