Good location, poor communication
My group arrived in San Diego at 5pm as mentioned to the host months prior. I was told that they will send me check in instructions shortly after my arrival. That was not the case. I sent them multiple message once we got the rental car about the check in process as I haven’t received any communications since I booked it in January. We also called the provided number many times. The first time no answer the the following ones went straight to voicemail. It wasn’t until more than 3 hours later I got the instructions to enter the apartment. By this time our group was worried we’d have to find an alternative place to stay for the night. The host asked if I checked out several days past my reservation, which of course I was home already. The communication and organization of this rental is questionable. The rental itself is in a convenient location and the place was decent for our group of 4.

Great Convenient Stay
Property is exactly as shown and was clean upon arrival. CC was very accommodating and allowed me and my group to drop our bags off early so we could explore San Diego without having to worry about them! Overall a very convenient and comfortable location.

Not what we expected
This property was not what the listing looked like. There weren't decorative pillows or art on the walls and all of the decorative lamps were broken, all of the blinds in all the rooms had parts missing. It felt very stale. There was only 1 working smoke detector, the two others were missing. There was a missing door knob on the outside of one of the bedrooms which made it unsafe for my son to sleep in that room. The breaker had blown and needed to be reset for the lights to work in one bedroom. The power outlet in the bathroom was black from blowing. The management was responsive and they had maintenance fix the door knob and the outlet the next day. They do not provide wash cloths, so you have to use a hand towel to wash with. There were no hand towels or wash cloths for the kitchen either. The second night we were there, San Diego got hit hard with rain and rain started pouring in from the framing of the living room window. The TV was plugged in directly below the water, so we had to unplug it and move it. Water was everywhere and ended up making a large puddle in the kitchen. I let management know and they asked if it was ok for us to move apartments. Of course we wanted to. We ended up packing all of our belongings up at 6:30pm and driving to a new location in a torrential downpour. It was very inconvenient but definitely necessary. The second apartment was much better and we stayed 2 nights there. I would not recommend this apartment but I am satisfied with how management responded and made things better for us.

Skip the hotels, stay here!
As I was planning my trip, to visit with my son for the holidays, I usually go straight to hotels in the Mission Valley area. So glad that I looked into VRBO to see if there was anything available, closer to my son’s place. The host was super responsive, and checked in during my stay. The unit is very beautiful! Clean and plenty of linens. And the kitchen was well stocked. This is definitely going to be on my list for future and longer visits. Especially, thankful for the parking space right in front.

Exactly as advertised!
If you're looking for a clean and modern condo that is conveniently located to various tourist attractions, this is the place to stay. Condo unit #1 is very spacious; in addition to the 2 bedrooms (1 with a big TV), it has a living room with a big TV, a separate dining area and a full size kitchen. We felt safe staying in this condo/neighborhood. We also liked the designated, free parking space located in front of the building. The only negative was that we could hear footsteps of the tenant(s) living above the unit. However, this would not deter us from staying at this condo the next time that we are in San Diego.

Clean, convenient and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay very much. The Cindy condo was very clean and outfitted with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect—conveniently located near great access and within a 25 minute drive of all of our destinations (MCRD, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, the beach).. We would definitely recommend staying here.
