Fairly centralized locationPosted Oct 6, 2015
Right off Market street so easy access to get around town. Quiet area. Although free breakfast was never served.

Gross room and rude staff!Posted Sep 27, 2015
During our 4 night stay we only encountered 1 staff member that was helpful... The rest would fight us on anything we asked for. We rented the "suite" so that we would have room for a crib (which they didn't have so we had to bring a portable crib ourselves), and had 4 adults and 1 child registered. They consistently only gave us 3 towels and would question us every time we asked for 2 more. One of the adults came home with bug bites all over her body that we think came from bed bugs! The "suite" was slightly bigger than a typical room and was in a dark corner of the hotel. The room was on the verge of falling apart. The bathroom was tiny and the "closet" area was too small to fit more than 1 piece of luggage in it. We ended up using the couch to keep our luggage off of the floor. If we had not been in a group, I definitely would not want to be out and about in the part of town where the hotel is located. We would have changed hotels but there was a conference of some sort going on and we couldn't afford any of the hotels that had vacancy. We definitely will not be returning to this hotel ever again.

Overpriced and no iron in room. Location was OK, but did not feel safe. Premises was dirty. Bar across the street was the best thing.

Definitely the Worst part of my SanFran ExperiencePosted Sep 18, 2015
Pros: When I wasn't there
Cons: WIFI!!!! Space in the rooms
Location: Not the most ideal location, but there is a Safeway and walgreens fairly close, which was good.
*Noisy and Tiny Room *Bad Area *Crappy Wifi *Staff were better than I expected I wouldn't really recommend unless theres nothing else, Just Being Honest

Not the best hotel I've ever stayed at.Posted Sep 2, 2015
Cons: The rooms need a major overhaul.
Location: The location is about the only thing this hotel has going for it. Situated right on Market Street in the heart of San Francisco is a plus.
The front desk clerk was pleasant but the room was utterly dissapointing. It was dark, dank, and dreary. There is no carpeting anywhere in the room, just an ugly tile floor. The beds were lumpy and the furniture was about 10 years out of date. The funniest thing, there were packages of earplugs on the dresser as if to say, "If it gets too noisy for you, plop these in your ears!" Unbelievable!

Experience San FranciscoPosted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: Decor was old but it was clean and kept clean. Cheap. Parking. It's an experience but please don't take kids there or someone you want to impress.
Cons: Improvements will include razing the hotel to the ground and rebuilding it.
Location: 2 minute walk to the F line which gets you to the main Bay Area localities. Easy (uphill walk) to Haights.
The staff was polite and room was clean but it's hard to ignore the facts. It's a rough area. In 4 nights I heard someone smash a window in the floor below me, woken up at 7am by 2 females high on something looking for a girl named T (they subsequently knocked on several doors). People from the street relieve themselves in the stairs to the 2nd floor and I am pretty sure there were a few shady individuals looking for T too. Very noisy due to traffic and night drama but don't worry room comes with complementary ear plugs. 2 police visits to my floor in 4 days.

Terrible experiencePosted Aug 28, 2015
Cons: Everything, especially there front desk staff
My experience was terrible, from check in to check out. Hotel staff is slow to respond to activities going on. There was also a fight on my car, fighting in the parking lot on banging on doors. My drivers license wasn't giving back to me, after calling three times I'm still waiting on them to drop it in the mail

This occasion was terrible.Posted Aug 19, 2015
I'm on a limited budget because of need for SSDI and frequent need to see physician pursuant to alife saving surgery in May of 2014 and again in this past June. This is an exception to prior stays in other rooms but this travel lodge room had a security breach severe enough that Rx's we're stolen while I stepped out for a cigarette w/ locked room door in site. Management was responsive but could not prescribe medication that allowed my doctor to assess me with the benefit of the his care after recent operation.

Günstiges Hotel in guter Lage in San FranciscoPosted Aug 17, 2015
