Our apartment we call "Tropical Breeze" is a fabulous, large, garden floor apartment located in Dorado Beach at Villas de Costa Mar, about 40 minutes from Luis Marin Munoz International Airport in San Juan. Enjoy private garden terrace with a lounge Hammock and Jacuzzi for 4 with a fully equipped space for a relaxing vacation. You are literally across the street Dorado Beach and can see the water from the terrace.
This Villa has comfortable arrangements for the entire family or a group of 4. Enjoy a BBQ or one of the many local restaurants in the neighborhood. Walk over to the beach every time you feel like catching some sun. The master bedroom has a king size bed with memory foam mattress and an en-suite tub/shower bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds. The guest bathroom also with tub/shower is right off the hallway. The spacious fully equipped kitchen makes sharing a meal that much more special. The living/dining area are open to the kitchen and include a large streaming TV. Cellular WiFi is available at this location. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and has a washer/dryer. We provide all linens and towels, as well as bath amenities. Beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler provided. Gated parking for one car is included.

Museo y Centro Cultural Casa del Rey
Dating back to 1823, this former Spanish garrison is now a museum that depicts the story of Puerto Rico’s early history, from the Taíno culture to the Spanish conquest. Museo y Centro Cultural Casa del Rey also houses a lion’s share of the island’s colonial relics, including antique furniture created for the king and queen of Spain.

You’ll learn a lot about the history of Dorado at this fascinating art and archeological museum. Exhibits include items recovered from excavations near Ojo del Buey Beach, including pottery fragments, jewelry, tools, and even the bones of La India, a young female who died during pre-Taíno times. Admission is free.
Balneario Manuel Morales
With diamond dust sand and aquamarine waters, this astonishingly beautiful beach is one of the north’s most popular hangouts. Much of the shore is shaded with palms and other lush trees. You can hang your hammock, set up a small barbecue, and make a day out of your visit. There are restrooms, showers, parking spaces, and on-duty lifeguards at the beach.

Ojo Del Buey Beach
Translating to “ox’s eye” in English, this beach got its name from an unusual rock formation in the shape of an ox’s head. At Ojo del Buey, you can enjoy one of Dorado’s most pristine beaches with calm waters and a laid-back atmosphere. Local legend has it that pirate Roberto Cofresí buried his treasure there, so no one will look at you funny if you decide to dig for the loot.
