"This home is in an ideal location to walk to the beach, enjoy the views from the deck, or just hang out by the pool. The area is quiet. The home is updated and beautiful. Every room is comfortable and the upside down layout is fun. This is a true gem on Nantucket!"

We loved being in Tom Nevers and appreciated the serenity of the neighborhood and enjoyed biking or driving to the nearby beaches. John is a fabulous host - he's responsive and kind. "Everything about our stay was excellent. The owners provided plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, lots of kitchen seasonings, trash bags etc. to keep us going. The house has very comfortable beach chairs, a beach unbrella and beach toys. Don't worry about it being a duplex as we never heard the adjourning permanent resident couple over our 4 week stay."

"House is beautiful and spacious. The artwork is gorgeous and the furniture is modern yet comfortable. Everything that we needed to borrow is available, chairs, beach bag and towels. The house is an easy walk to the Sconset market and wave bus. We very much enjoyed our stay."

Secluded Home abutting Bird Sanctuary

"If I were to create a family rental with everything I wanted, this would be it: lovely decor (furnishings, art, decorations), a large, well-equipped kitchen, loads of sports and beach equipment and games, dog-friendly, and incredible views and privacy. The multiple seating areas and tables on the second floor of this upside down house make the living space incredibly versatile —so smartly furnished and arranged. The bedrooms downstairs are also great, though one of the three full baths gets a lot of use since only the master has its own bath and the third bath is upstairs (but lovely). (Beware the relatively steep stairs.) But the outdoor shower is perfect. We appreciated being treated like respectable adults, without a long list of house rules, although a little more direction on the trash situation would be helpful. (We weren’t sure where to put food scraps and paper - the compostables.) The abundance of birds on the property is special, the distance to the low-density and beautiful Quidnet Beach is as advertised (3 minutes by car) and Sasachacha Pond is a bonus part of any beach visit. And then there is the distant Sankaty lighthouse view from the ample deck with grill and umbrella table for eight. Can’t go wrong here."
