Breidablik is a MESMERIZING 70 square meter cabin that stands on a PRIVATE land in the south of ICELAND. The most perfect LOCATION for the GOLDEN CIRCLE. The cabin Breidablik is WELL EQUIPPED and beautifully furnished. Renovated and INTERIORLY DESIGNED by its owners. It can ACCOMMODATE up to 6 people, with TWO BEDROOMS on the lower floor and ONE BEDROOM on the upper floor. Both bedrooms on the lower floor have a 50“ SMART TV that is equipped with NETFLIX, 200x160cm BED and a CLOSET for clothes. The living room has a comfortable couch, a BEAUTIFUL FIREPLACE, PROJECTOR for watching movies with a DOLBY 5.1 HOME THEATER sound system. The SUPERB DINING ROOM seats up to TEN PEOPLE and has a magnificent fully EQUIPPED KITCHEN. The bathroom is small but comfortable and has a good WARM SHOWER. The entrance room has a WASHING MACHINE that is also a DRYER and has a stairs to the upper floor. The deck/patio is accessible from the entrance- and living room.

On the UPPER FLOOR are two 200x120cm beds and two 22“ TV's that are equipped with hundreds of MOVIES. There are also two COMFORTABLE BEAN BAGS.
The private land has a lot of TREES and MOUNTAINS can bee seen stretching out in the surroundings. The private deck/patio is HUGE and is quipped a BBQ GRILL, dining table for up to EIGHT PEOPLE and a cozy HOT TUB - Perfect for enjoying the RELAXING, STAR GAZING and catching the NORTHERN LIGHTS. The cabin has of course FREE PARKING SPACE for up to four cars if parked properly.

At Breidablik cabin, you'll experience staying in ICELANDIC NATURE at its finest no matter what the season.

My parents and I went on a winter getaway to Iceland to see the northern lights. We ended up not seeing any lights due to winter weather, but the cabin was absolutely wonderful and a great place to ride out a storm. Cozy, warm and solidly built with very well thought out amenities. The cabin feels like a little home and is incredibly inviting with a hot tub, fireplace, great wi-fi and well-appointed kitchen. It's in a great location close to lots of popular sights in southwest Iceland. I will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely stay in breathtaking region
Great experience all round from the property and communication with Erlinger, including changes that we had to make due to Covid. Lovely cozy cabin with fabulous hot tub, we loved the cinema screen too for cozy evenings in. Great location in the golden circle. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Would recommend highly.

Great hosts - however weather prevented us from.staying
Due to a snowstorm on our arrival in Iceland followed by high winds, the road systems were shut down which prevented us from making it to the cabin for our stay. Erlingur communicated with me about the lack of accessibility to the cabin and even included a map showing the road closures. He also included the sites he uses for determining driving conditions. During the booking process, he was easy to deal with and provided an extensive list of must sees that included their approximate distance from the cabin. Even though the weather did not cooperate, we did enjoy Rèkyavik and what we did see of Iceland. If we decide to return in the future, I would not hesitate to book this property for a future stay. The location of this property is also great - not too far from Rèkyavik and near most of the Golden Circle and also driveable to Vik and the south coast.

Wonderful cabin great host
Comfortable cabin with lots of room for our entire family to enjoy together. Appreciated having the hot tub and the projector TV made movies really fun. Erlingur was a very attentive host - we had the pleasure of meeting him and his daughter. Only wish it was a little closer to town although the the drive to recommended restaurants were quite manageable. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
