Great place to stay!!

This cabin was amazing and very clean! Hot tub was great. Cabin is only about 15 minutes from town and there is a DG about 2 minutes away. We stayed 9 days and it was great! I will definitely be back when in this area. Thank you for sharing your cute cabin with us!!!

Very deceptive listing

Listed as waterfront. It was a joke. This place has no shower. Furniture was awful. Worst place i have everrented. Dont do it!!

Great Family Place

Nice quiet place!

We were quite pleased with the cabin. They accommodated our dogs who enjoyed the pond right out the back door. It was clean, quiet, close enough to the things we wanted to do, and isolated enough to get away from crowds and noise. My rating would be a 5-star but for the fan in the main room that needs to be rebalanced - it clanked constantly.

Nice dog friendly rental

The water was clay colored and had stuff floating in it By day 2 it was clear but no way i would drink it and i was a little worried giving it to my dog. The hot tub had dirty water and wasnt running when we arrived.. we were pretty disappointed in that. The back porch is lovely.. in the dead of summer that porch stayed so cool from all the tree covering the house and a covered porch. Price point was good ..the house was nice. Very private back porch.. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Nice house but a few issues.

On arrival there was an open bag of chips in one of the rooms and small black ants in the kitchen. other than that the house is great looking. The hot tub not working was definitely annoying for my family. We arrived on the 13th and it was running already and said 85 degrees, so we left it running. The temp never rose and I attempted to contact VRBO on the 14th and was told that since the owners did a different platform I was basically out of luck with VRBO. Later that day on the 14th it was at 91 degrees finally since running before our arrival. I contacted vacasa and was initially told by the representative that the hot tubs were set to 85 degrees automatically. The next day on the 15th later that afternoon a nice gentleman arrived and by then since it had continued to stay running it finally reached 104 degrees after "warming up" for days and he said it was because the setting was wrong and set it to filter every 4 hours, which I do not believe will fix the issue. My daughters only used it the final night and we left the morning of the 16th.

Friendly Bear Cabin

Hot Tub was brown and slimy, roaches in the kitchen and bathroom, shower curtain and tub was brown and nasty! (Had to take the shower curtain down and wash)... The entire house had not been cleaned in months. There was no creek or river beside the house. Was just a mosquito hole with water runoff! On the up side...it was a very private location. Would not recommend this cabin to anyone.

The main reason for staying at the cabin was for the hot tube and unfortunately we didn’t need to get to use it. It was dirty I reach out to someone about the problem, but never got it resolved.

Perfect cabin in the woods

Wonderful stay for multi-generational family! Something for everyone! My teens loved the outdoors and the hot tub. My husband and parents loved watching football and enjoying Thanksgiving dinner. The rooms were perfect for us. Only one shower. The upstairs bathroom has a large spa bathtub but no shower.

Good and bad

The property is private and peaceful as advertised. Our biggest complaint was about the cleanliness of the cabin. Thankfully, the kitchen and linens were clean. The bathrooms were terrible. The toilets were black and there were piles dirt on the floors. All of the floors were really dirty. Definitely need to follow up with the cleaning service ☹️

Seclusion and

It certainly owned up to what was listed...secluded but close to the action especially wine tastings and general stores. I could hoop and hollar about the cabin, i.e. location, outside swing, air conditioning, hot tub, TV, fireplace, and on and on but the one thing which made it awesome? The tankless water heater. That was freaking amazing! Jacuzzi filled upstairs and 3 showers in a row with hot water! Might not be everyone's amenity but after a long day at Dollywood and Soaky mountain, a hot shower was a perfect way to breath air into a fatigued body. Thanks for the memories! The Badman Family

Not clean

The cabin needs a good cleaning. There was something red on one of the rag in the bathroom when we got there. The toilets are stained inside like they haven’t been cleaned regularly and the floor had hair on them. Thick dust on the ceiling fans. There was on one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, we had to purchase more. The floors in the main area were dirty.

Great little cabin

This cabin was great, however, it is not creekside. There is a pond but no creek. I was really hoping to be on one of the mountain creeks but overall it was a nice place to stay.

Great time for all our ages.

The location was great for us. Our Littles loved the lake. They threw rocks and sticks to their contentment. We also enjoyed the hottub and grill and campfires. The sink upstairs doesn't drain properly and there is no shower upstairs. So it's really hard to take a sponge bath when the sink doesn't drain.

“Girls week at Friendly Bear”

The Smokey Mts are a midway location for me from Hot Springs, AR and my adult daughter from Pittsburgh PA. We, and 2 girls friends, enjoyed the nearby hiking trail, Dollywood park, Gatlinburg, wine tasting tours and local wood carvers. We were not comfortable eating in crowded restaurants so we were pleased the kitchen had all utensils needed for meal prep. The hot tub, multiple sources for holiday movies (Netflix, Hulu,Roku) and room for playing games were fun evening entertainment.

this place never was maintained water came out brown in tub sinks drained slow dirty full of hair worst air filter for a/c heating never had bin changed had 1" thick dust on it have pic my family suffered from there allergies it was great when we were not in cabin outside light to front door out braker tripped no one had checked this cabin told management they did say sorry but full price for this oh hot tub and fireplace do not work

25th wedding anniversary

Great property! Loved the setting! Only downside is would have loved a shower in the upstairs bath. The jacuzzi tub was good but had to walk downstairs to the bathroom for a shower.
