“Location was perfect for us to attend a wedding. However, no air conditioning in the property. We were on ground floor on anyone walking on second floor caused loud creaking! Bathtub had a mysterious knob we gave up on trying to mix hot and cold water. I it clean with towels and soap and shampoo etc.
Decor a bit outdated and a bit odd.
We did not use the fridge or microwave or rangetop but they were available.
It was OK but not great.”
“Working Horse farm that was a great new experience for us. Cozy room decorated in a throwback style making us nostalgic for simpler times but having all the amenities that one needs for modern times also. Kris and Jim were so gracious and accommodating. Made our attendance at a destination family wedding extra special and memorable.”
“Stayed here night before hiking Gray's and Torrey's. The hotel (and Silver Plume altogether) is a small and quaint mountain town full of history. The hotel itself is just as advertised: old, quirky, quaint, but lovingly maintained. The communal bathroom was nice, though not sure if we could've done it for a longer stay. However, the breakfast lounge was fully stocked with coffee, baked goods, and the next breakfast burritos ready to go for our 3am wake up time! We thoroughly enjoyed it for what……
“Wonderful stay at Highland Haven. Very clean and beautiful grounds. Staff was super friendly and inviting. The location is superb for walking to town for local shops and dining. Short Drive to Red rocks and many other key hiking locations.”
“This was the perfect Inn! The staff was amazingly friendly, kind, caring. Easy come and go as we pleased. Absolutely would stay here again. The quaintness of the area and the beautiful outdoor area with the view of the surrounding mountains from the balcony was perfection. We will definitely be back. Also super convenient location to the small town main area like the coffee shop across the street and 3 min from the infamous Georgetown Loop Train.”
“Super clean, and super cute. Loved the little coffee bar
Stayed here when visiting Red Rocks for a concert. Within very reasonable distance to Red Rocks, Golden(Coors brewery), and many hiking, interesting drives.
Local shops are interesting, food is great, and so are the people!”
“This property is very nice. Fully remodeled from a turn-of-the-century home built in Georgetown. Jamie, the owner, was kind and courteous. Accommodations were perfect and clean, and her breakfast was yummy every day. We would highly recommend this location to others wanting a charming get away.”
