“The room was immaculately cleaned, the staff washed and changed the sheets everyday. Amenities were wonderful, the best fully stocked gym with equipment I’ve ever had. Food service at Calabash (the hotel restaurant) was quite slow, but the food quality and taste was excellent. So just be aware that meals do take time at the hotel property.”

“Very cool property with peacocks! Rooms were disconnected from each other which gave a condo-like feel. Very quiet while I was there. Staff were great and helpful in coordinating transportation and giving recommendations for what to do during my stay.”

“We understood that it was not peak vacation time in Barbados, but the resort was empty. The resort did not conduct any activities they had listed for the pool or the beach. No music being played - very low key. Restaurant choices very limited and one night there was even same menu two nights in a row. Very limited buffets. LOVED the staff at the spa! Definitely visit. The room was beautiful - very spacious and the view was wonderful.”

“The property is a bit old-fashioned but has everything you need. Rooms are well-kept and spacious. The balcony gives a nice outdoor feel. The location of the hotel is convenient as it is close to several restaurants and a small mall. The staff were helpful and I had no issues during my stay.”

“This is one of my favorite repeat hotels. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The location can't be beat. Everything in walking distance. Restaurants, clubs, supermarkets, the Boardwalk and best of all the hotel is on the beach! Free parking is always available also. Recently updated so everything is so fresh. The balcony is the perfect spot to watch the sea and waves as you eat your breakfast or watch a sunset.”

“Staff was very helpful and attentive. They were also engaging and planned activities to do during the week which was great. The rooms were nice and extra kitchen amenities were a plus. The AC units in the room were a bit outdated but kept the rooms cooled. The breakfast buffet was also good and fresh, although they ran out of one item once. We had a pretty large party. My only complaint was that the bar area closed down pretty early each night, especially being that it was around crop over……
