Amelia House - The Charm of Old and the Fun of Today

Vacation home in Superior
We named it Amelia Heritage House - Amelia for the former owner who loved it so much. And Heritage for the park that is two blocks away.

Amelia Heritage House is a fully updated 1905 built home intended for special occasions, family travel, or for that business stay at home. You will have queen beds in the three main bedrooms, a wonderful sleeping porch, brand new bathrooms on all three levels, and a terrific finished basement with TV, an office nook, dry bar, and full sectional couch. Enjoy our fully remodeled home with brand new kitchen, family room and new bath rooms

The Spaces
Amelia House sports smart home features including key less entry, security system, internal security cameras, thermostat controls and more. Just 6 minutes from Duluth, you can experience the twin ports and the north shores of Wisconsin and Minnesota. There are so many activities, waterfalls, and day trips that are available to our guests.

Local food fare is fun and pretty darn affordable. Try the Anchor Inn for amazing burgers, the Thirsty Pagan for live music and pizza and Reuben roll ups (not to mention their craft beers), or how about breakfast at Julies to start your day.

We are pleased to share our home and our re-envisioning of a wonderfully timeless design with you!

Other things to note
Superior offers wonderful history and is reinvigorating itself by renovating classic buildings and welcoming new residents. Watch what side of the street the neighbors park and follow their lead!
Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or nearby; fees may apply.

5/5 Excellent

It was a great space for our family to gather to celebrate or son's graduation from college. It accommodated us well. We enjoyed the family room in the basement, the porch, and the dining room the most. We were able to be together but have our own space as well.

5/5 Excellent

Nice Spring Break
The house is beautiful, amazing decor, warm and cozy, quiet neighborhood near everything. Our family of 4 adults and 1 kid couldn’t ask for a better place to spend part of our spring break. It’s obvious that Bruce and Omar have put so much love into this house.

5/5 Excellent

Friends weekend north shore
We had an amazing trip to Duluth and Superior! The Amelia house was absolutely amazing, very easy to get to, and a short distance to Duluth. The house worked perfect for 4 people and we loved the neighborhood it’s located in. We will be back to this gem!

Five stars
We had no problems and enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and clean. Great place for a family vacation! Three bedrooms with quality linens. We also enjoyed the family room in the basement. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Family vacation
We had a girls trip with my mom, sisters and nieces. Close to state parks, which is a huge plus! The home is beautiful! Bruce was a fantastic host as well. We kept in contact through out our stay. I would book again!
