Characterized by its living room with original cedar paneling, polished boards, Persian carpets and open fire, Solitary Retreat is a snapshot of life in the 1920's. And then there is the view.Solitary Retreat is blessed with one of the very few genuine uninterrupted escarpment views on the Cliff Drive. Enjoy Mt Solitary and the Jamison Valley with your morning "cuppa" from bed. When you have finished savoring the view, stroll across the road to the Prince Henry Cliff Walk and take a leisurely 30 min walk through the World Heritage listed national park to the Three Sisters and Echo Point or go the other way to Leura Falls and enjoy some of the best views the mountains have to offer. We are only a couple of minutes drive from several golf courses, walking distance to galleries and the tourist bus stops right out front.
