This home was large and cozy. The 3 bedrooms had ample room for luggage and gear, as you usually have more when you are traveling to ski. The master bed was comfortable and a King size, which is great. The two bathrooms serve their purpose, however my husband is 6'6" and struggled to use the master shower due to how narrow/small it was, so he had to use the guest shower. The living room is a wonderful area to hang out, play games, watch movies and get the fire going. The kitchen was large enough to cook breakfasts and eat in for dinner as well. It had most of the necessary utensils and spices, did not have foil/plastic bags/items similar to that. The hot tub was very clean and they even left chemicals for us to use after each use to assure that it was kept clean during covid. The house did run VERY warm so we had to open the doors/windows and run the fan at the end of the day to get the air moving, once the sun was down, it cooled. Overall, the house itself was perfect for our ski trip with a small group of friends. It only took us about 20 minutes to get to taos ski valley and 20 minutes to get into town to get food/items. The downside is that it is a 'dog friendly' home, but the location is not super dog friendly. The side yard is gated and what not, but before you bring your dog, just know that it is difficult to take them on a walk around the home. The main road has many farm dogs off leash/roaming, so it was not safe to walk by them. We instead had to drive back up the canyon a bit to walk our dog on a trail, that is the only thing to be aware of. The house is also at the end of a dirt road, so if it snows or is muddy, you will need AWD. Otherwise, perfect house for our stay and for skiing.
