This is a beautiful property, it is like staying in a historical mansion. We stayed in a king suite and the room was huge and very nice. Continental breakfast was simple and sufficient, great experience overall. We had an emergency situation at home (12 hrs away) and the manager was extremely helpful in working with us so that we could leave a day early. Would definitely recommend this hotel…close to Skeaneatles and the lake.

The location, of course, makes it a standout, as well as the attention to detail. The decor is thoughtful--beautiful and welcoming. Anna and Renee were warm and attentive innkeepers. And COVID regulations were very good. I stayed in room #9, which was fully outfitted in Mackenzie Child. It had a lake view and was quite cozy and comfortable. This family owned and operated hotel was very clean, friendly and dog-friendly! Anthony, the owner, and his mom and aunt, some of the housekeepers, were very welcoming to us (my husband and I) and our German Shepherd. Our suite was very roomy and spotless, and the whole hotel had modern yet old school vibes with hardwood floors and black and white tiled bathrooms.
