“This property is a hidden gem and you can tell it's a labour of love for the amazing owners. We stayed for 3 nights while driving around Lake Michigan and although one of the longer stays of the trip it wasn't long enough. The owners are wonderful, the couldn't be more helpful. We arrived early, they looked after our bags so we could drive in for the Cherry Festival in town, they even put our stupidly heavy bags in our upstairs room which they absolutely didn't need to do. “We were quoted one price when we checked in and verified through our bank that that is what they ran the card for and then mysteriously the bill went up. When I signed up for the room, I explained I wanted to ground floor Beach view was paying all this extra money I thought for it and I ended up on the second floor for 10 days in a room the size of a shoebox. No closet no dressers nothing they told us if you want something you ask us we don’t clean your room we don’t do anything while you’re……

“We paid for the accommodation; the reservation stated that four people could stay there, but upon arrival, the receptionist told us that only two people were allowed per room. In the end, we had to pay an extra $85 a day because the reservation couldn't be cancelled. They completely take advantage of the situation; I will never stay there again. Be careful.”
