Boasting a newly remodeled tennis/pickle ball & half basketball court , a private pool and spa, a gas grill, and ample outdoor seating to soak up the colors of the sunset in style, this home provides countless ways to soak up some vitamin D. Step inside to be greeted by modern decor, a plush leather sofa, an open living area, a large gourmet kitchen with a granite island, and another butler's kitchen adjacent to the main chef's kitchen. The kiddos and the young at heart will also have plenty to do each evening, with a Ping-Pong table and foosball in the sunroom. Not to mention, this home enoys breathtaking views of the Tortolita and Catalina Mountains and sits adjacent to the La Cholla Airpark private airstrip. Fly your own private plane almost to the front door! The layout of this single-story home is ideal for the whole family or multiple groups, as the five bedrooms are spread out to give everyone some privacy when need be. Walk in from the front door to find the first bedroom to the left, offering a king bed, a TV, and a wonderful en suite bathroom. Head right through the living area to find two more bedrooms - one with two twin beds and the other with a queen bed and access to the full hallway bathroom. The other end of the home boasts the last two bedrooms - one with a king bed and the other with a queen. What's nearby: Located 17 miles north of downtown Tucson, you will have no trouble filling each day with desert fun. Some local attractions that you won't want to miss include the El Conquistador Golf Courses, Tucson National Resort and Golf, Dove Mountain, the Ritz-Carlton Resort at Dove Mountain, and the Golf Club at Dove Mountain, all located within a short drive from home base. Things to know: A playpen and high chair are available for guest use There are active security cameras located in the front and on the side yard. There are no cameras facing the backyard. Butler Pantry Refrigerator -- Please note: The refrigerator is not operable, the freezer does work. There is a very large refrigerator in the kitchen for guest use. This property is managed by Vacasa Arizona LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Security camera details: Located in the front and on the side yard. There are no cameras facing the backyard. 2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool and pool spa. The house is spacious with lots of areas to relax, visit, play games, etc. The patio with pool was our favorite place to hangout during the day to enjoy the warm Tucson sun. The kids enjoyed the pool and using the tennis court. The house is relatively remote so the area is quiet, and we were able to observe lots of wildlife. We absolutely loved it. It feels quite remote but it’s an easy 15 minutes to where we were playing tennis. We loved its tranquility. The only part of it that was a bummer was that the pool and hot tub were not heated. Pool? Okay but hot tub? Really disappointing. We were told it would be $500 to heat those for the stay - totally ridiculous and leading me to believe that something actually needed fixing? Send us $500 and we will fix it for you. Many kitchen amenities for cooking. Very clean! The tennis court was not in the best condition but worked for warming up before our tournament. The home is beautiful and spacious having many gathering spots for guests to spread out and enjoy themselves either individually or collectively. With 8 persons in 5 distinct family groups, the 5- bedroom layout was ideal and each guest loved the privacy of their room as well as either private or semi-private bathrooms. Common spaces made for great interaction opportunities as smaller groups of people could take advantage of both indoor and outdoor activities (pool table, pool, tennis/pickleball court, ping pong, foosball) whereas more private and very comfortable areas exists for those whom wanted to sit, chat and catch up with family members. Every guest absolutely loved the home's layout, decorative features and comfort. Also commented and loved was the surrounding environment - the peacefulness of the area is fabulous - either indoor or out, serenity was abundant and very much enjoyed and appreciated by all. The home's functionality was very high with only one minor point away from perfect. HVAC was flawless, each room/ space very comfortable throughout the stay. The kitchen/ butler kitchen/ pantry amply stocked with kitchenware, convenience and utility items and thoughtful touches making the kitchen the family gathering spot with plenty of space and very enjoyable. Garage remote openers didn't work the only negative. We'll be back for certain! The tennis court is not well kept and the pool/hot tub never got heated. Indoor appliance need to be checked for safety issues. Lots of bolts missing on refrigerator, springs on dishwasher are off. Very dangerous! Refrigerator fell on my daughter. Communication with this company is non existent after they get your deposits. DO NOT PAY FOR HEATING POOL/SPA. House itself is large and accommodates large parties. Beautiful setting. Great Set up. Very private and seclude. Has everything. I was frustrated with Vacasa at first because they did not answer messages I left on VRBO. I had to contact direct but once they gave me a number to text they did an excellent job addressing my needs. I would suggest higher end furniture outside and more sitting space and a little nicer cookware and utensils. Clean and well appointed. Would definitely return for another stay. One negative: the dishwashers are a hazard. We made use of all the amenities - tennis court (great for pickle ball too!), pool, spa, pool table, HUGE kitchen. The location, scenery and property grounds were also amazing, and it was fun to watch the planes land on the nearby airstrip. The location is perfect - far enough out of town for peace and quiet but close enough to town to enjoy what Tucson has to offer. One tip - The spa is a little tricky and talking to the maintenance person on the phone was really helpful since he walked us through the steps. He was very responsive. One suggestion - The pool area is so beautiful, and needs more than two lounge chairs so that more folks can get that "resort-like" experience.
