    Cozy and quiet
My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay! The views are amazing and we had a good time crabbing and fishing off the dock. The house was very clean and the window AC units kept it nice and chilly. The house feels very spacious and is well maintained but has a homey feel- not like your typical cookie cutter vacation rental. It is located about 15 minutes from the main road, so if you want a quiet retreat this is the place to be.

    Amazing hideaway
What a lovely weekend getaway with friends. Christine was so easy to work with and readily available with any questions we had. Great recommendations for food down at a perfect little spot at the marina. Kids loved the crabbing and fishing and the outdoor space is just so peaceful. Would definitely go back again!

Christy was wonderful to deal with in all aspects of the rental process. The property was just as listed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

    Description Undersold Property!!!
If you're looking to get away, this property is amazing! It sits at the end of a long, quiet road on a large piece of land, right on the water. The house itself is older with wood paneling inside, but it is clean, well-stocked, and we'll cared for. The highlight is the outdoor space. The sunrises over the water and from sunrise to far beyond sunset, the outdoor space is amazing. Fishing and crabbing all day. Having a washer and dryer was nice for after a day at Cape Charles Beach (about 30 minutes away). The owners were fantastic and easy to work with. We caught Maryland Blue crab and Sole off the dock. We chartered a boat and caught Spanish Mackerel. This home provided a great space for our family to enjoy it all. It is a trek to the property, but we were trying to get away during COVID, and this home was perfect. We saw lots of deer and bunnies on the drive. The kids enjoyed the wifi inside during the heat of the day. Plenty of A/C in the house. The fridge was a nice feature. The owners hooked the kids up with fishing poles and crab pots, so they went straight to the dock upon arrival. We'll be back!

    Awesome Trip
We booked for a week an had a hard time leaving. The view from the boat dock overlook is just gorgeous! Christy was an excellent hostess and made sure we had a good lists of things to see an do in the area. It is a remote location but very relaxing. We fished from the dock, crabbed, had a fire and just spent time with the family unwinding. I brought my 23' boat for the week (tied it up at the dock) and we ended up going out fishing the main stem of the bay on several occasions. We visited Cape Charles, Onancock, and Wachapreague. Had lunch on the water in Onancock and picked up some steamed crabs at the Machipongo Clam shack. Definitely enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back again.
