Inexpensive and comfortable

Posted Sep 3, 2015
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable
Cons: Better WiFi?? I don't know if that can be improved- but the WiFi was super slow.
Location: Can not say. We arrived late at night and left early in the morning.
Arrived late in the evening. I came from the US; without my GPS working, it was a little difficult to find. Checked in without any issues. The hotel lobby and rooms were clean. (did not smell; as some hotel rooms sometimes do) The hotel provides a free breakfast in the morning. Usual items. (muffins, cereal, toast, coffee and juice) There was also an egg product (like an omelette) but without any cheese. Had a nice shower- quite large. I would definitely stay again.

close to train

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: the bed.
Cons: Refrigerator inside the room and microwave too. more choices for breakfast, fix the ice machine
Location: our window didn't have nice view, didn't like the location and nothing to do near by shopping closed at 6pm.
Train in the middle of the night. Ice machine is out of ice the whole time we were there and we checked four times to get some ice but its always empty. not very happy at all. housekeepers are not very friendly coz i say " good morning to a housekeeper and no responds at all. oh well! No refrigerator inside the room or microwave.

Good stopover

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Proximity to Langley and Ft. Langley, smaller boutique feeling.
Cons: The continental breakfast, and sweep the parking lot!
Location: Ft. Langley is a blast from the past, with movies having been filmed there.
After making the reservation with Expedia and being told that there was a bed PLUS a pull-out sofa, we got to the hotel and were informed that they don't even have such a thing ( I was travelling with my teenage daughter and her friend - needed two beds), BUT the desk staff made it happen and there was magically a two bed room available that wasn't the previous day.....hmmm....The included breakfast was very basic, without any fresh fruit or anything (keep in mind we are in orchard country), and the grounds were pretty unkempt. The place just went through new ownership, so I suppose they must be given a chance to see what happens.

Not great

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
The pump for our shower was broken or something and it thumped, repeatedly, ALL NIGHT. It sounded like jackhammering. The trains also go by right outside and woke us up every time. AND people were partying all night right outside our window and smoking and the smell came in, even though the window was closed. It was a terrible place to stay. Also, there was no complimentary toiletries, there was only one towel and one hand towel. Just awful.

This is an older facility that needs some TLC. The room was not clean, and the mattress was not comfortable. For the price, we expected better.

Pleasant stay

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. quiet and comfortable accommodations. overall a nice stay.
Nice friendly stay out of the mainstream busy downtown. The train across the road was a little noisy at times but understandably a necessary part of the community. should I need to return to that area I would seek a room there.

Good price at bad location!

Posted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: Cleanness and Staff
The room was clean, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The big problem is the location. It is very close to railway and every hour a train is passing by whistling very loudly. If you are have a light sleep avoid it at any cost. Otherwise it is a "yes" for saving money.

Great Price! Great Rooms. Would Stay Again!

Posted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: Price... and everything in between!
Cons: Nil
Location: A great spot to stay before you get to Vancouver... the USA border is not far, but we didn't cross over.
Obviously the Hotel is located there for a reason... which we still wonder about. But with the price and VERY good hotel and room condition, self serve hot breakfast and easy driving to town this was a real winner for us.
