"Amazing property and an unexpected surprise. Restaurant(s) on property were excellent food & staff. Room was clean & bed was awesome. Live music on the weekends was nice. free parking garage was nice for motorcycles. We would stay here again in a hear beat."

"We've stayed here before it was a Spark and the remodel is nice. Didn't care for no coffee in the room or ice buckets? The bulk yogurt dispenser and whole breakfast spread was nice. We would stay here again."

"We had a really nice stay at the English Inn in Charlottesville! The hotel was comfortable and welcoming, and overall we really enjoyed our experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The people working in the breakfast room were absolutely great—very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They made us feel comfortable every morning and added such a nice personal touch to our stay. The friendly service was definitely appreciated! The only disappointment was the pool. I was really looking forward to enjoying it with my son, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to use it because the pool was very dirty and did not appear to be properly cleaned. That was disappointing, especially when traveling with a child and looking forward to using the hotel amenities. Aside from the pool issue, we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay. I would definitely consider staying here again. I just hope management gives the pool more attention and makes sure it is properly cleaned and maintained for guests, because that would have made our stay even better!"
