"The room was clean, the staff was very kind. Overall a great stat. Great location, easy to walk to main street. Would definitely return."

"The stay was not good. The hotel was definitely older but had been renovated but the room was very dirty. Dead bugs on the floor and in the bed sheets. There was a lot of hair on the sheets as well as bugs and the sheets had stains. The pillows were very old and yellowed. The floor had a lot of dust and other debris that wasn’t cleaned especially around the sliding door to the bathroom. The shampoo dispenser was hanging off the wall about to fall off. The body wash was empty and the simply put another bottle at the side of the bathtub both bothering to replace the dispenser. The exterior door had a large gap between it and the frame, probably where all the bugs were coming from. The A/C system is very old and smelled of mildew. If it hadn’t been for arriving nearly at 10pm I probably would have complained and left but I wasn’t finding other availability in the area and decided to stay. I definitely won’t be booking here in the future."

"I didn't have high expectations, but was still let down. The staff was pleasant and bed/pillows comfortable, but the place is run down. The newer flooring is nice, but needs to be thoroughly cleaned, as does the toilet and bathtub. Would not stay here again. "

"Our room faced the main road, so we could hear the traffic. I would ask for a more interior room. The location is great. The room had everything we needed. They provide an excellent breakfast. We were much impressed by it."

"What you see on their site is not what you get. Mold in the shower. Cockroaches. Stains on both mattresses. The list goes on and on. Posting pictures. "

"Outstanding experience! Stayed in the Monolith unit … the feeling of sleeping in the trees was wonderful! Loved relaxing in the hot tub at night while enjoying the star filled sky! The staff was so very helpful. On a scale of 1 to 5 I rate it a10. It exceeded my expectations… I will absolutely stay here again!!"

"Enjoyed the loction, for sure. Free parking was great. The fire alarm in the middle of the night wasn't great, nor was the alarm clock in the room that went off also wasn't great. Then there was a sound of dripping water. All in Room 7. The temperature level wasn't also well-regulated, but can be adjusted. I love Fredericksburg and plan on returning. This was my first stay at this hotel, and we did enjoy our time there, especially our meals at the restaurant. Not sure if I would stay at this hotel again, but I would definitely eat at the restaurant again."
