Good hotel, bad customer servicePosted Jul 19, 2017
Pros: Absolutely nothing.

He traveled from California to Philadelphia and arrived the next day at five in the morning; To have my room ready at that time in the morning I had to pay the night before and the day I had to sleep two nights; When I arrived at the hotel my reservation had been canceled, they had to assign me another room that was not the one I had reserved; I only had one bed; I reserve for two beds; I was assigned on the second floor and I with disabled conditions; The hotel did not have an elevator; I was charged for that room on the second floor $ 82.00; Then return to ask where the elevator was; They told me they did not have it and they assigned me another room on the first level and they charged me another $ 82.00; I was told that until 12:00 PM there would be a free room like the one I had booked, that if I wanted to, I could go to that room when I was ready; Which I agreed to; When they moved me to the other room I was charged $ 102.00 and I had already paid $ 164.00 when I made the reservation a month earlier. It was frustrating a bad experience with a desire to sue, for customer abuse and the disabled.

Not clean and poor customer servicePosted Jul 16, 2017
Cons: Cleaner sheets and bed, smoke-free room, and customer service
The first room that I was shown smelled like smoke and a musky smell. I asked to change rooms. They put me in a room with a connecting door to the room next door. I specifically asked to be in a smoke-free room but to my surprise, they put people next door that were smoking weed. The whole room was ingolfed with smoke and I was concerned that I would be charged with a smoking deposit due to the smoke coming from the other room. I called the front desk to request to move and they stated there were no room available. That very night my door key didn't work so I went to the front desk to ask for new key and I over-heard the clerk checking in 2 guests. How do they tell me there are no rooms available and they check in 2 guests that same night? As you can see they lack customer service. Most of my requests were either ignored or I was given an attitude. The room was also falling apart, it was out-dated, and the bedding and sheets were not clean (there was blood stains and holes in the sheets). I requested new sheets and made my own bed every night I was there. The pillows needed to be tossed away in the trash as they had large stains on them. The carpet near the bathroom had a large water stain that would never dry. I am assuming there must be mold underneath the carpet also because of the water stain. Mold is a public health hazard and they shouldn't be renting rooms with mold forming underneath the carpet.

Too much noise from the highwayPosted Mar 23, 2017 on Hotels
The room is not well insulated for noise and tho I asked for a quiet room, the highway noise was nonstop. I was able to mask it with the noise of the heating system, but then it got hot so I turned on the fan instead but it was cold out so then it got too cold. Not ideal. Breakfast was really basic -- bread, muffins, cereal, and Danish. I was in a rush but I don't think they had much else, not even bagels or nicer pastries. Better than nothing but not as good as other similar hotels I've stayed at.

Stay was great. When I stayed an additional night, the other room need touch up on: the door (would not close tight).
