My husband and I were looking for a place to stay on our recent trip to Yakima. We were looking for an alternative to a hotel. We arrived late. Paul and Kathy ensured we were informed about accessing the home and our suite upon our arrival. Oh my, in the dark their home was beautiful. When the sun came up and we could truly take in the breathtaking views of the valley — orchards, hills and the river. Growing up in Yakima, spending time relaxing outside on the patio nearby brought me to tears. The peacefulness, views, smells and comfort of Paul and Kathy’s home was a emergence back to my childhood. My husband had a bit of trepidation staying “in a stranger’s home. This lasted about 5 minutes. Following an amazing nights sleep in our clean and perfectly furnished suite (by the way, the views are outstanding), we enjoyed the use of the outdoor patio, kitchen, comfy overstuffed sofa to watch some Olympic coverage. Everything is simple in Paul and Kathy’s beautiful home. French country themed, treats, fresh coffee, endless amenities as we came and went from the home with ease. The highlight to our stay was spending time visiting with Paul and Kathy. They are kind and easy going. Through our conversations we learned of the many connections we had with mutual family members, friends and past work experiences. We will most definitely return. I was hesitant to leave a review for selfish reasons—haha! Our experience was so amazing we want to be able to return to this paradise. As word gets out about this unbelievably fantastic home, no doubt, Paul and Kathy will be booked out months, if not years in advance. Cheers to Paul and Kathy! We absolutely adored the two of you!
