“Absolutely enjoyed the access to the beach and the staff were very attentive. There were a few large issues though. The tub would not drain leaving mid shin deep water while trying to shower. There were two large stinging caterpillars one in the towels the other on the wall. The AC window unit would not stay running keeping the room temperature very hot. After calling twice to verify they had a coffee pot that took pods upon arrival it was filter and grounds however the staff was able to find……

“We were only driving through on our way to Charleston, but so glad we stayed, it will now be a destination. The room was clean and comfortable. The beach is beautiful the staff was nice and helpful, great little restaurant right across the street. Nice walkable area.”

“It's across the street from "Jeannette's Pier" and a beautiful beach. Also next to a great restaurant next door, named, "Sam & Omies" a great breakfast! They had a good group of quite guests. We slept like babies with the fresh breeze in our cabin😁”

“Not enough hot water for geyser, only one person could shower at a time, then had to wait for water to heat up again.”

“The room was very clean and the view was great but the beds were like sleeping on a piece of plywood (seriously!). My husband and I did not sleep, which made for very long days with 3 little kids! The hot tub was not working during our stay, which was disappointing and our TV was not working for the first 1.5 daysz Normally I wouldn’t care being at the beach but it was 50 degrees and crazy windy so limited outdoor activities. Sadly, I wouldn’t stay again solely due to the terrible beds. ”

“Clean, comfortable and affordable room with nice shower! Bri met us with a smile and showed us around the place. We were not able to use the cute fire-pit area or tiki bar due to inclement weather, but I'm sure it's a hit on nice evenings. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the main house. Rooms come with a fridge which is great if you go out to eat and have leftovers. Centrally located on the island. ”

“We arrived after hours, and Jim made sure we had what we needed and for our arrival to be seamless as possible. Our room was in excellent condition and super clean and fresh. Our bed was comfortable, seemed brand new and we had no problems! We will definitely stay at the Dolphin Oceanfront again in the future. Thanks again! ”
