“The room was fine. My poor rating is the result of my interaction with the staff when checking in. I lost my temper, swore and walked about ten yards away, at which point I was told that the place employed security and I could be removed from the property. I was not threatening, and there was no recognition on the part of the staff that the hotel’s stance was unreasonable. I later saw online that the same issue has happened many times over the years, and that means that IHG can’t bring itself to……

“First there is no elevator. They should make that clear when you book. Second the room they gave us smelled so bad like mold that I didn’t even want to stay but they wouldn’t refund my money. Third there was mold in the fridge, the pool was so cold my kids wouldn’t swim and we had to go down 5 times because our room keys didn’t work. I will never stay at another Wydham ever again. ”
