“The room was really clean, the bed was soft and comfortable, we had everything we needed and it is located in a really cool area- I was hesitant about not staying in Lake Geneva, however, I actually thing this area is even better- a chill lake vibe with a great cafe, adorable little bar and ice cream shop that you can walk to. There is a public beach right across the street and an amazing marina right in the backyard. The bar and restaurant look great too. ”

A short distance out of the small city of Milton, WI is a neat old wood covered bridge. It provides a little used road over a small meandering stream. On this Winter day we received over a foot of snow. The white flakes and the red bridge created one of my favorite Americana photos. The tree lined snowy path provides a surreal and wintery feel.
