“We could not be happier with our stay at the tree houses! We stayed for 3 nights. The staff was incredible. Coffee delivered every morning to our balcony so we could watch and listen to the animals, a great breakfast prepared every morning, and a night hike that we really enjoyed. The staff was incredibly helpful in booking excursions which were so fun. We took a day trip with Juan Carlos and saw so many things in a day that would have taken us 3 days otherwise. We 100% recommend to stay here. ”

“Clean rooms and friendly staff. La Fortuna is about a 30 min drive. The friendly (Giovanni and Louis) make the drive worth it. We were able to spot sloth from the facility (guess we were lucky). I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. ”

“Parking in the street is sketchy. I would highly recommend knowing how to speak Spanish if you are staying here. Not a lot of surrounding restaurants. Staff are very helpful, AC works well, pool is great, community hotel vibe with updated rooms. Power went out twice, but they had a company fixing it there immediately. Hotel parking is tricky-but eventually worked out. Go early for breakfast-avoid the rush. ”

“The only positive aspect about this lodge is its excellent location but otherwise the place itself was dated, no places to sit and enjoy the views. No effort was made in bringing in some comfort and decor. The staff seemed more interested in their own gossip than customer service. For example we had to repeatedly ask for utensils at breakfast.. overall, save your money and spend it elsewhere. ”
