“I have stayed at Bluebird Inn for several years. It is a good relaxing spot between SoCal and NorCal. This was the second time I decided to make it a 2-night stay and use the deluxe rooms. I think the extra space and the balcony overlooking the garden is pleasant. I didn't use the fireplace this time. The Inn was spotless and clean as always. They had these little make-up removal wipes that have aloe, so if you spend a little too much time in the sun, they are useful, at least on your……

“My key didn’t work, staff member refused to give me a new room. Insisted I get staff to open the room I was in every time with a master key, when I wanted to get in. Would never return.”

“The room was clean and tidy, although the facilities were a bit dated. The location is excellent—it's very close to Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seal viewing area. The hotel is right across from the ocean, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a good experience.”
