“Charming beachside hotel. Nice outside bar, good to have on-site peking. Lovely breakfast.”

“Requested accessible room - it was so far from the main part of the hotel we needed to drive and use a fire exit. In the bathroom the shower seat was rusted and broken, bathroom old, not maintained and dirty. The pillows stank and we needed to request new (which were equally as awful). Bedding cheap and musty. The part of the hotel we staid in is obviously mothballed for most of the year unless there is a big event nearby when they must open it and sell rooms. We were there for Goodwood which……

“The accommodation was clean and well maintained. I have to say we felt the charge of £25 per dog per night extortionate, I understand the rooms may require extra cleaning, but the charge in our opinion is too high. £25 per dog per stay is more justifiable.”

“The hotel is clean , well maintained and the rooms have all the facilities you would expect in a decent hotel. Our rooms were really nice and very comfortable. Breakfast was extremely good with adequate choice. I found the staff helpful and courteous. Parking nearby was not always possible as it’s difficult to find a space and if you do it’s £2 hourly but free between 6pm and 9am. The nearby multi story Carpark is only open until 10pm.”

“Absolute heaven from beginning to end. Delightful staff, the most beautiful lawn to sit out on with a drink (and fire pits for the evening), great food, super comfortable room and amazing spa treatments. Best weekend away ever!”

“We booked a double bed for one night, but when we got to hotel the bed had a three quarter mattress. Not enough room to swing a cat in bed. The window in the en suite bathroom would not close, so a cold draft through the night. Won’t be going back there in a hurry”

“We had a fantastic interaction with Matt the owner when we arrived. He told us everything we needed to know about the property and parking, asked if we needed help with our luggage. Told us about breakfast places. Was overall super friendly which was a great start. The room was super clean with towels laid on the bed, tea and coffee waiting with sugar and water and cookies. Bathroom was spotless. There was a welcome letter waiting for us outlining all we needed to know. Great stay. Will……

“overall the accommodation and staff were good and the grounds and location was very pleasant. However, on the Saturday evening we arrived back to the room at 8.30 pm to find in the garden a bbq, loads of people and very very loud music. We could not sleep, read or listen to the Tv and the music stopped at 11:59. Really spoiled our stay”
