My family was very pleasantly surprised with our stay. We arrived late Friday night to a very friendly desk clerk who took care of us quickly and professionally. Room was very nice and comfortable. We were staying here for its proximity to a swim meet in the area. The suites( they are more than rooms) are marvelous. Quiet, great views and one of the most comfortable beds ever. The bathroom was also very nice, and the floor is heated. Couple that with butlered coffee and beignets each morning, and you’vr Got s high standard to beat

We enjoyed our stay at Hopkins very much. Very hospitable but not luxurious. Breakfast was very delicious and the hosts were very helpful. Located in beautiful farm land with national park nearby and great restaurants. We enjoyed the ale from the ale house too.

We came up to the lodge at Big Medows in Shenandoah National Park in order to view the Perseid Meteor shower. The lodge and the food were wonderful and the meteor shower was out of this world.
