“The welcome from Imi on reception started our stay, he was so engaging and helpful and a credit to the hotel. Our room was clean and served us well. The only thing we needed and not provided in the rooms was body lotion although interestingly it is in the public bathrooms. The restaurant in the golf club building was very nice. Our server Amber was again a credit to the hotel and gave great service. The food was plentiful and an excellent quality and taste. Our friend with a dairy intolerance……

“This was our first ever stay in Winchester. The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming and took our baggage and stored this safely as we had arrived earlier than expected. Our room was spacious and clean. The reception team and health spa staff were magnificent and were able to deal with each and every one of our requests. The spa itself was exceptionally clean, due to the staff who clearly take pride in their work. The breakfast buffet had a good range of hot options as well as cereals,……

“The hotel and all other considerations a great, what does let the hotel down is the poor breakfast, having stayed a number of times I have consistently found this wanting. I come up for work from Devon once a month and aesthetic and atmosphere are everything to me whilst I am away from home on Business. A good start to my day is also a requirement and this prerequisite is a good edible breakfast. I'm not going to get into the detail, everyone knows what a good breakfast looks like, it doesn't……

“We’ve booked one night here at first, then we decided to go there one day before and booked one more day. We told the reception lady when we arrived check in, she said it’s ok, no need to do the check in again and we could stay in the same room. The next day at ten mins before ten, a housekeeper locked on our door and told us to check out. We’re surprised and told her our case, she told us to check with the reception. Then the reception said we’ve to check out and come back by 4 to check in……
