Dog Friendly Retreat w/ Deck & Meadow Views

"The view and wildlife sightings were great. We saw deer every morning and evening and a bear one morning walked right by the kitchen window and sunroom. The bathrooms were clean but there was still paper wrappers from candy on the floor in one room when we checked in and furniture was very dusty. The single bed in the basement was not level and the mattress on one of the beds needs to be replaced. You felt like you were sliding out of the bed. There needs to be a notebook with all of the checking in/out and directions for everything instead of directions taped every where or having to use an iPhone to scan a barcode. ( not convenient for us old folks.) We could not find outdoor lights switch to turn on lights around the spa for night safety or the switch to turn on garbage disposal."

"It was a wonderful rental for families. The house was great but what made it really awesome was the mini golf, pickleball, par 3, catch and release pond. The kids also loved the pool is was the perfect size for our four kids."

"The house was very clean and cozy. The bed in the back with the tv was not very comfortable and I had to resort to the couch. The bathroom sink drained very slow and some of the items that were listed in the book, we could not find..charcoal, adult life vests. The wildlife did not disappoint and the walk to the lake was beautiful."

10/10 Excellent
"I spent my 55th birthday weekend with my grown kids and grandkids. 10 of us fit in the house with a family sleeping on each level. The majority of our time was spent outside enjoying the pond: fishing, swimming, kayaking and the fire pit. The kids did play a few of the board games and put a puzzle together. We had 3 pickup trucks and an suv parked on driveway lane so there was no issue getting around each other. The house sits at the back of 20 acres so the noise from the rental does not affect the family that owns the place, I asked! The shelter is a nice addition although we didnt use it. It is better than the pictures show. The trash bin is located out the driveway away from the house so we just took a bag with us when we left to go somewhere.A tree limb fell off before our arrival but someone came to clean it up shortly after we arrived. We talked to Ken briefly while he was cutting the grass. He answered any questions that we had and said that we could message him if anything came up.We dont usually use the washer and dryer while we are on vacation, but this time we did and were thankful to have it. The kids in and out of the water all day made many dirty clothes and they needed fresh clothes by day two. The pine needles are impossible to keep off of the floors with kids running in and out but I did my best to clean the floors before we left. I didnt find the mop or vacuum but there are brooms and cleaning supplies on the main floor thankfully. We all loved it."
