"I was up all night when I stayed there May 8, 2026 There was a couple of men drunk making loud noise in the hallway all night and I didn't help my room was right next to the elevator."

"We ordered a suite but got a different room. There is no hair dryer in the bathroom. Random stains on the mattress and the couch. And each time we left the room the room cards would demagnetize. I haven’t had this issue so frequently at other hotels. Walls have no soundproofing , would clearly hear every conversation happening in the hallway. Tv service was great, staff were quick to help."

"Requested for bath towels early morning around 7am am and was advised will have someone brought up in few minutes. Waited roughly 1/2 hr and had to call back again and then was told that they did not have any towels left and had no choice other than to wait until housekeeping staff arrives at 9am.."

"Nice facility, my only complaint is the incidental fee that is charged. They take the money out right away, but it’s going to take up to 5 days to get it back?, that’s not right"

"The Blackwell is an amazing hotel and facility right on OSU's campus, which is why it's amazingly convenient to so much, but also hard to get a room (and at a "normal" price) on busy times like parents' weekend or any home football game weekend. But if you can get a room at their normal rate on an "off" night, it's the best deal in town. Friendly and accommodating staff, a good bar/restaurant area, and a great breakfast room called 2110 makes it all you need for your stay. Very nice sized rooms as well. Decent gym area too. But it's the convenience that makes this one the winner every time... if you can get a room at the right price."

"The hotel is next to the train tracks which runs by 3 times every night. There’s not enough hot water when all the rooms are occupied. ☹️"
