“Place was clean for the most part. No air conditioning but the weather wasn't crazy hot. Bathroom smelled really bad which was the worst I could say about this place. But the staff was amazing she was caring and attentive. ”

“Wonderful trip- from as soon as we were picked up by a very helpful driver to our drop-off. The property is incredible - beautiful views of the volcano and cloud forest canopy, stunning trails along waterfalls and river paths, beautiful hummingbirds everywhere and fascinating encounters with frogs (the night tour was fantastic thanks Pablo) and toucans and big cats etc. Rooms are spacious and beautiful with stunning views. “The property sits on a hill so walking to shops was not an option for us. However, we had no problems getting a taxi when we wanted to venture out! The rooms are absolutely amazing!! You can see the most amazing views and sunsets from the rooms balcony! The rooms are clean and the beds put you to sleep immediately, they are soo comfortable The staff are super awesome from the waiters, to cleaning and grounds people!! “This hotel is basic, a room and a private bathroom, but that is all we needed. We were there one night as a waystation to where we were going from the airport. There was no staff on site at night or in the morning when we were there. I don't speak Spanish. Fortunately another guest helped us arrange a taxi to our car rental. Note: This room does not have any view from a window except of the wall of the building next door six inches away. ”

“Grds. tolle Unterkunft. Das "Iglu" war echt toll. Leider reicht der Vorrat an Warmwasser nicht und die Badewanne auf einmal zu füllen. Eher auf dreimal. Die Mitarbeiter waren OK, aber jetzt nicht hoch bemüht. Die Lage zum Poas Vulkan geht nicht besser”

“This was a lovely place to spend our first couple of nights in Costa Rica after a long flight. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfasts were great, as was our evening meal. The accommodation felt vibrant and Costa Rican, which we loved, but could do with a little updating. However, it was still a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. We really enjoyed the coffee tour and would highly recommend it.”

“We stayed at the Berlin on our way back to Canada. Spotless room. Really lovely, helpful staff. She booked us an airport taxi for very early the next morning. They were up when we were leaving at 5 am and gave us coffee and a take-out breakfast. We will stay there on our next visit.”

“Había ropa sucia en el baño de mi habitación, no tenían lo que yo pedí en el restaurante :( los toboganes son pequeños creo que es mucho de perspectiva en las fotos, me gustó el jacuzzi y me metí a las albercas (estaban frías) 6.5/10 solo estuve 2 noches, un día completo la pasé en las albercas el día siguiente estuve fuera solo pagué por dormir, los animales de llanta eran impresionantes y lindos los koi”
