Cap Cana Chalets

"Overall the property was decent. I have been to a few other dreams and since this one is fairly new there were a few things missing, for the room we needed to call to bring towels, shower caps, and lotion. They did upgrade us to preferred which was nice and we got the pool view which was also a plus. The room was beautiful and spacious. The restaurants were so so, the one we enjoyed best was the Caribbean restaurant, the other ones I will give a 6/10. The drinks were also so so unless you had a preferred drink which those were good. I think they just need more time to prepare and learn things about the dreams properties. The beach had lots of rocks and see-weeds, if you want to enjoy the water beach you will need to walk about 10mins out , the water gets better with less rocks. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Fisherman’s Lodges in Cap Cana and would definitely return.The location by the marina is perfect — peaceful, secure, and ideal for morning walks among the yachts — yet only a short drive from Juanillo and API beaches. The property was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great base for a relaxing couple’s getaway.A special mention to our host, who was incredibly helpful, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish.Overall, a fantastic, stress-free stay in a beautiful part of the Dominican Republic. Highly recommended."

The staff are friendly and kind, and they try to be helpful. Cons:
There was a food safety issue during our stay. The way the hotel handled the food poisoning needs significant improvement. Instead of avoiding responsibility, we hope the hotel would take such matters seriously and conduct a proper investigation. Food safety should always be a top priority to ensure guests feel safe and cared for. Due to the food safety issue, we made a specific request to the hotel. Although our request was declined, they offered an alternative solution, which we eventually accepted. If the food poisoning incident had not occurred, this could have been a great trip. Unfortunately, because of what happened, we were not able to enjoy our stay as much as we had planned and expected. One star thanks to the friendly staff. One star thanks to the late night manager, who quickly took my husband to the clinic — he is the person I appreciate the most. One star thanks to Manager Pedero, who provided us with an alternative offer in the end. "

"The property was better than described! The layout was perfect for the 6 of us including a toddler & baby. The unit is beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped. We had Claudia cook for us a few times which did not disappoint even though we weren’t sure if we would like Dominican food. It was delicious. The view from the balcony was spectacular and hearing the ocean waves was truly relaxing. The location was very convenient, close to the 2 pools and the beach. Our host, Nicole was very responsive and attentive to our requests and needs before and during our stay. The only downside is the noisy construction in the unit below which is supposed to be completed in 2 months. We will definitely be back!!"

"The staff was outstanding, the food was great, and the workout facilities were top notch. There were many lovely pool options. However, the beach was a disappointment - clean and well maintained but the were rocks in the water and the beach was cramped with an insufficient supply of umbrellas"
