We had a great stay! The location was great a 3 minute walk to Optimist Hall & a 20 minute walk to uptown! However, it would be hard to sleep 4 in the space due to the futon being more of a twin size rather than a full size.

The place was just fine. Nothing great about it. A hard, short futon was the couch, the tv remote's batteries were dead and no way but email to contact the owner, ceiling fans were dusty, had to really crank down the AC to get the room temperature below 72 degrees, lighting in the rooms were from high ceiling fans or 1 recess lighting in the kitchen. Location was fine near optimist hall which had lots of food options and within walking distance. Only would recommend if wanted a cheap rate and uncomfortable seating options.

While it was a convenient walk to Optimist Hall the overall condition of the apartment was FAR from “luxury”. The fan was caked with dust, the walls looked like a college dorm room and it smelled like smoke and entirely too many glade plugins. We booked two nights but only stayed one because of the nauseating smell of the place.

Really great cozy spot with great accessibility to the city!
Only stayed for 2 days and 2 nights but it was great, for the price the property was great, everything was clean and neat and the layout was really unique with the open concept, I wasn’t expecting that and honestly really loved it! One of my favorite things was the proximity to Optimist Hall, it’s a 3 minute drive and a 10 minute walk from the property and they have great food there and awesome stores, highly recommended stopping there if you stay at this location, otherwise you’re gonna miss out. Absolutely lovely stay and will definitely be looking forward to my next visit to charlotte to stay here again.

Sizing threw me off, thought it was more spacious than it actually was. Air mattress had a hole or something in it so I woke up with it deflated laying on the hardwood floor which caused my back to flare up. Family slept well in bed at least.

Overall decent. There was an issue with water leaking from behind a locked door (I’m assuming hot water heater maybe). Which of course is a property issue, not necessarily an issue with the renter of this property. Weren’t very helpful though when explaining that there was water in the floor. Floors were kinda of dirty. Only one blanket to use on the futon. Key fob only worked once the entire stay.

Good price for a good stay
The apartment is by the train station so if you’re a light sleeper that will keep you up most of the night. And instructions were missing a small part but could’ve been very helpful for some people in regards to checking in. Overall a good stay.

Char, NC concert stay
This place is a great location for Charlotte events. Less than 2 miles from The Underground, which is where we were going. Outdoor balcony was also a plus while we were waiting to go to the Big Wreck concert. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Great Studio Apt on the Light Rail Line
This place was super convenient for me as I had a conference in Uptown all week and this place is a short was to the Parkwood station. That also means it’s near Optimist Hall and the wonderful restaurants in NoDa. The place was clean and had the basics for cooking. Washer and Dryer were very helpful. It’s on the 3rd floor of a secure condo/apt building, with stairs only. There’s a small balcony and smart TV. The bed is super soft. If you’re planning on remote working, there’s not a desk, but there’s a small bar height table and a couch/coffee table. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to access the city from using the light rail!

Best feature of this property is location...light rail station across the street and easy drive to anywhere in uptown and beyond. Optimist Hall is only two blocks away, but had to cross major street without a traffic light. The appartment's amenities are basic, but adequate for my 4 night stay. Bed was very comfortable. Complex is very quiet.
