“No curtain to prevent outsiders from viewing room. That is a Privacy issue for me!”

“No elevator to the second floor; didn't see anything at breakfast time, not even coffee; room had a peculiar smell-- like someone painted to cover the smoke, but it got musty; our toilet seat was not attached to the toilet, but it was fixed quickly; hard water orange stains high up the shower curtain; bath floor mats were hung like they were two hand towels; all three bath towels had grey stains like they were caught in grease; No loud sounds after quiet time, easy parking, floors were clean,……

“Did not use the laundry service. Parking was convenient. On the afternoon of July 17 when we checked in, the refrigerator in the room was not working. The desk clerk very quickly found us another room and solved the quandary. She deserves to be recognized for excellent service.”

“My stay at Sandaway was totally awesome. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing vacation this is the place for you. My favorite part is the beach view. Sitting by the beach and hearing the sound of the waves and the birds and watching the wanter was heavenly. The staff were friendly, helpful and respectful. I needed assistance with my AC and they came in immediately and helped me with it. Having a pot of coffee at my door with a bag of goodies was a special treat.”

“We've been here twice before and everything was excellent. This time it was new owners and sad to say, it wasn't excellent. There were a lot of little dead bugs on the window sill and a long hair on the tub (I have short hair). The lamps by the bed wouldn't light up a closet much less the room. The blinds on the door and window had to be adjusted manually (no twirl stick) and at that, they didn't close completely. They have a lounge/restaurant but it wasn't open. “The shower curtain in our bathroom was installed incorrectly making taking a shower a little tricky. The bathroom sink drained very slowly. The couch in the room was so hard it was uncomfortable to sit on. The "free" breakfast bar was disappointing. There were runny scrambled eggs. The egg container was half full of liquid (I assumed it was water). There was no meat selection. The previously frozen breakfast sandwiches looked very unappealing. On the positive side, the staff were friendly.”
